DON'T INSTALL ONTO HDD

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 6:28 am

Side Effects include -

Rank Reset

SP Freezing

MP Freezing

No Supersoldier Achievement

Save data bust

I've never had any of these problems, but my friend did when he installed it on his NEW xbox.

Mine is the 4-year-old Elite, and I never install anything on it, unless the game tells me it geniunely runs better.

I can confirm that all this is rubbish. I intalled the day I bought it and since then have had

NO Rank Reset
NO SP Freezing
NO MP Freezing
COMPLETELY FINE Supersoldier Achievement
No save data errors

I've never had any of these problems, and I intalled it onto my FOUR YEARS OLD Xbox.

Don't listen to the panicmonger.

If you hadn't realised this much yet, Ampulator is beyond moronic - He starts atleast 5 inane threads a day and has the worst English Language skills for someone living in the UK - My guess is he is 14 and just wants to get some attention and validation.

I installed the game a week into MP or so.
NO RANK RESET or freezes or any other issues to report.
MP lag remained the sole big problem, before and after installing the game.

Worst English language skills?

No way. There is nothing wrong with the OP.

I'm just saying, I have had no problems whatsoever, whereas my friend has.

Can you please stop making yourself look like an idiot by thinking before you make assumptions and pasting those stupid assumptions from your brain into a forum thread that you know some people will probably fall for?

Your assumptions have no proof or expertise behind them so quit the idiotic thread creation.

So, just because one of your friends had this problem and because it was only tested with 2 people, it will affect everybody that plays the game?

You make me *facepalm*.

All in all, a suggestion doesn't nessecarily mean you have to do it. If I'm wrong, the so be it, you don't have to try and drive me out of the forum. Instead of being hostile, you know, you can just sort of tell me.

What you see as idiotic are questions, suggestions, etc. I don't find anything wrong with being an active user, yes they may seem unnecessary to you, how else am I to start a discussion about something that I think needs answering?

You really haven't gotten the hint over the rest of your threads, have you?

3 times today, twice yesterday..... It will probably be in everyone of his threads tomorrow, and I expect him to continue, atleast until the MP is fixed and I stop coming to the forums hoping for information on a patch............

Was that supposed to sound a lot nicer?

Well, considering this forum, there is no rule to how many threads I can post each day. Not often the games I play feature an online community by the same developers, however, I will try to limit the amount I post. Not because they're completely unnessecary, but because you told me to. Happy now?

You can't have a thread with another question completely unrelated to the original topic, and make it work, unless it's titled "Answer these questions", because I don't work like that.

I just simply think of a question that needs to be answered when the occasion arises.

You want me to say sorry? I am sorry, to you. I am not fond of starting arguments, nor do I like participating in one-sided Internet abuse. I'd rather make friends than enemies, yes, but as things stand now with Crysis 2's multiplayer, I suppose it would be a good choice to keep gamesas happy.

Also, why is my English bad? I don't understand, especially when I got an A for describing a sandwich last week in an essay. Must be one of my past posts.

instaqlling does not increase or decrease your risk of having any of those problems. but crysis 2 does not seem to run any better installed compared to not installed.

This made me laugh. Really it's not funny, but the ridiculousness of the situation is starting to amuse me.... but that's the only reason I come to these forums. Wasn't happy with the MP problems... came here to see if there was a patch on the way.... patch came... did nothing..... came back to the forums to read the patch notes that weren't posted etc.

For the record, day one install not issues to speak of yet as well.
