Obviously, you can't block while dual-wielding spells. But it seems a little odd to me that dual-wielding weapons would render you unable to block. Has whether or not we can been confirmed?

The search button is at the top right of the webpage.

No, you can not block whilst dual wielding weapons. Pete confirmed this via twitter.

Yeah confirmed a while back repeatedly. It does seem a bit odd, but...nothing to be done about it now.

If you search the forums (top right hand corner of your screen is the search bar) you oughta be able to find numerous threads that go into greater detail about this.

Confirmed we can't. Pete said you "sacrifice defense for offense". There's plenty of ways to block. Shield/sword, 1 handed+empty hand, 2 handed weapon and with the Favorites menu, switching playstyles on the fly will be fast, fun and intuitive.

Dual-welding the kind that strategy that deals with W+M1/M2 ; it fits the kind of mentality on a power trip, hack hack hack lots of damage.

You will not be able to block whilst you have two weapons equipped.

That would be quite nice. Other boards I saw were talking about a parry. The one-handed perk list wasn't revealed, so just going to have to wait to find out I suppose.
