So far I have encountered this way too many times in fallout new vegas. You find a quest, guy/girl/monster puts a map marker on your map or you get a data note or something however the quest doesn't appear in your quest log so you don't notice you found a quest until way after in the game. Then you aren't sure where to go anymore despite having a data note in your inventory for some of them. Some don't even have data notes for them.

These quests simply get lost in the backround and I can't remember them all. I mean for starters there's no tracker, some only give hints unless you go back to the npc to get a clue again. I mean I feel like I'm missing in-game content that I payed for because a lot of these mini-quests aren't being tracked in my quest log.

I've also ran into this a lot where after you finish a quest, the quest says it is complete but its not! Most of the time when you go back to the previous NPC's that were in the quest you can still get rewards even though the quest log said it has officially ended.

Was this game playtested at all ??
