How this looks like Fallout is beyond me.
:tes:
I have to agree, none of those screenshots remind me of Fallout, I guess I could sort of see how you could say the recent screenshot showing a single house is a bit Fallout-like, but that's only because it's located on a fairly barren landscape, something that lots of games, fantasy games included, have done, in fact, Bethesda has done that in the Elder Scrolls before, ever played Morrowind? If you did, you might remember a region called the Ashlands, that was pretty barren, but I've never felt like I was playing Fallout when exploring the Ashlands. Not every game that features some barren landscapes looks like Fallout, and as others have pointed out, there are lots of screenshots depicting locations that seem in no way reminiscent of the wastelands we've seen in Fallout, so I'd say your fears are without justification.
Now, Bethesda has brought in a few elements similar to Fallout, well, no classes and perks, at least, but those are gameplay elements, just because the game plays similarly to Fallout doesn't mean it looks like it, and even then, those things are hardly things only Fallout is allowed to do, and I highly doubt I'll feel like I'm playing Fallout just because I get to choose a perk upon leveling up, Fallout and the Elder Scrolls are fundamentally different in enough ways to still feel like different series even if a few elements of one series migrate into the other, I think. really, as far as I see it, bringing perks into the Elder Scrolls is not making it like Fallout, rather, it's bringing in an element that worked in Fallout and could potentialy work for the Elder Scrolls too.
