I don't need to eat crow after all. :)

Wow, I can't believe I can take this back. Since I can't re edit the title I will make a new thread. In my previous thread, I ate crow since Bethesda put out a pretty good stable game. I said there wasn't many game breaking bugs. Well I just encountered one. I think it's the BIGGEST GAME BREAKING BUG EVER.

I started a new game, trying to get out of the cryo vac and I am frozen. Can't move, only hear dripping water. Way to go Bethesda, nice bug there, can't even start your game LOL. If that is not the biggest game breaking bug ever, then I don't know.

Feel proud now Todd? :P

Yes, I googled it, and found a fix. But man, so shocked to see this.

I didn't encounter any gamebreaking bug this time, the worst fallout in this aspect is definitely new vegas, I don't think Bethesda will ever release a game more buggy than that one.

What Bethesda are you talking about? Bethesda Game Studios or Bethesda Publishing? BGS didn't make New Vegas but Bethesda Publishing did publish it. Problem with New Vegas is when Obsidian made it, they made it with all the Faults that BGS made. So I guess you can say BGS did in a way make New Vegas buggy. In most case it was Bethesda Publishing that released it too early and hurried Obsidian to make it.

Hopefully you don't encounter this bug when you start a new game. At least it's fixable.

People need to just stop it with Obsidian.

They as in Obsidian produced a buggy game, which certainly needed player made patches to fix stuff like those Perks people seem to think are so amazing....Whats amazing is how broken those FNV perks were and not in a good way either.

Also more to the point

The current BETA patch fixes your issue OP.

Also it fixes Fo4's broken perks, go figure BSG actually doing a great job yo.

Sounds like a familiar bug to me.

I still have an issue with Skyrim's beginning. In some play throughs, Alduin lands on the tower but doesn't shout, just staring at me forever. Reloading the autosave typically fixes it, but that happened to me on 11/11/11, and it still happens to this day.

That happened to me on my melee character. Had to reload a prior save.

Which perks? I saw no mention of perks being addressed in the beta patch notes...

I couldn't tell you how buggy Morrowind or Oblivion were on launch, but uh... Daggerfall may be the buggiest game I ever played, after patches. Before patches you couldn't even complete it. But then, that was Bethesda back in '96. I'll cut Obsidian some slack for working on an engine they weren't familiar with under time constraints.

Well I find this pretty rude. First of, if you are correct how come this happened to me today? So how is this fixed my issues? No it hasn't fixed my issue as you claim. So you are wrong there. Second, at least be correct in your statement when being rude. What you could have said is "BSG has fixed these issues in their Beta patch, but seeing how this issued happened to you, you will get this fix on your Xbox One/PS4 soon." I guess being rude this didn't occur to you. You don't have to be so defensive, or in your case being combative.

Also if BSG is actually doing a great job, how come this wasn't done before the game was released? Want to make a statement like that, you really need to back up your words instead of attacking. By the way, I do think Bethesda has done a great job. Shamefully they do a great job after the fact.

hmm I am starting to see some very strange bugs here and there(or are they glitches) just today I was going after forge for the finch quest and my companion was walking on her side. it looks as if she laying on her side and she just walking around like that. Then after I kill everyone I fast traveled to finch farm and there was a caravan there. 2 guards and the doc. both guards had no clothes on.

then I came across a legendary deathclaw( skull next to name) a assaultron decided to give me a hand killing it. then walked away. kinda like the bloat file that went after a couple supermutants yesterday. it killed one.

F3 was a sloppy mess of a combat system and all but 3 guns were useless by the time you hit max level. NV fixed almost every mistake and obsidian made a brilliant game but bethesda is too proud to learn from better devs, so instead they make smaller games with less story and radiant quests. Not to mention ripping off the endings of the last 2 games and mashing it together. Shame NV got neglected for patches on 360.

You see some funny things that make me laugh.

A couple of times now companions have resorted to riding invisible hoverboards.

They put their arms in the air and hover everywhere.

Sometimes Companions take a knee and don't recover, dragging themselves around.

The other day i saw the travelling doctor and his guards.

One of the guards was swimming his way above the road with accompanying swimming sound.

And then there are the various robots that I have hacked, used as followers, for a short while, but were destroyed in battle.

On the rare occasions that i fast travel they can mysteriously reappear with me at my destination.

Which can result in some fireworks if they are the type that settlers shoot on sight.

At least you got further than I did a couple times lol. I had the carriage we were in randomly fly all over the place as we tried to reach Helgen.
