I don't play Skyrim seriously anymore

Post » Sat Sep 21, 2013 1:37 pm

And now I'm having more fun than ever. The restoration trick is the answer to all our cursed PS3 lower race problems.

I play with infinite HP, because I'm more essential than any NPC.

I play with infinite carry weight, since so many people think you should collect all the dropped weapons in the world.

I play with infinite sneak, so I have the freedom to walk away from almost any situation.

I play with infinite pickpocket, and with infinite sneak, now those essential bastards wish they could be killed.

I give a billion attack hunting bow to the follower. He still eventually pull out a new one from his... er... from Oblivion, but the "1-shot enemies when hitting the head" feature when you're wielding always works.

And by now, you understand that there's really no good reason to try to RP anything that gives you limits, since all the flaws in this game, the intended and unintended, already do that to a maddening degree, so you might as well give yourself infinite magicka, stamina and the other skills. And gold. And everything else.

This broken toy can really be entertaining, I don't regret buying it anymore.

Frustration happens. And I can relate after installing the 1.9 patch. My console froze 1 or 2 times every couple hour playing session. Away the patch went. I could see a lot of disappointed players if that's what they're selling in the Legendary Edition disk.

Though the original release has it's quirks, it's playable. It's been a couple weeks since reverting back and my console hasn't frozen up once. Maybe something you could try?

You purchased a game and have found a way to play it that gives you enjoyment. Good for you, that is what it is for.

Not everyone would enjoy your approach, but you play your game your way and others can play their game their way.

It's a single player game, whatever you want to do is fine. Pay your money, take your choice.

So you say that you enjoy Skyrim if you cheat? Good for you. Other people, including me, enjoy roleplaying in Skyrim.

Its for each to enjoy in their own way, wouldn't suit everyone but that's not the point, it maybe should however be of a concern to Bethesda that some people only find their game any good by exploiting to a ridiculous degree, but actually nah they couldn't give a [censored] could they so long as they make money, that's why stats are so misleading, sales don't always give a true picture of customer satisfaction since some may have bought it played it once and chucked it in the bin as utter garbage but still looks good on the stats eh.

And what is with the proliferation of people coming on to say, "I stopped playing this game ages ago. Why are you guys still dumb enough to do it?" What business is it of anyone else if people want to play any game at all. Personally I hate WoW and all its evil kin, but I don't get on and tell the players that.

There is a better way.

Build your character - then play from a fixed save. My character is level 50+ (and growing) with a 4 MB save file. Want to run the main quest line? Load the fixed save and run the main quest, but without saving over the fixed save. When you're done, go back to the fixed save and play from there. Run another quest line. Go dungeon delving, whatever...

Never need to worry about picking things up again, or your save file growing out of control.

That's sounds so...boring.

But if that gives your entertainment, then continue what you're doing.

To all of those deriding Bugcrab and his/her approach to Skyrim, remember this is a single player game. There is only one correct way to play, the way you enjoy playing. If you don't like the way someone else plays, so what, it doesn't affect you.

It was all fine and dandy (everybody has the right to play their game as they see fit), until you started blaming Skyrim. Then I realized you just are another guy who complains when a game doesn't adjust to a powergamer.

In other words, go back to CoD.

That does not explain why he posted it here on the forums.

This may be the crux of the matter, rather than what the OP may be choosing to do in the game.

Your post doesn't effect anyone either.

The OP started a thread about... who knows exactly... and the populous responds accordingly.

Saying Skyrim is a terrible game in the SKYRIM FORUMS is sort of like walking into the Shivering Isles with an epic beard you're just asking to be slaughtered.
