Don't be this guy.

I love Fallout 4 like everyone else, but some people apparently have taken it to the extreme.

So, what I'm getting here is that, in Russia, a halfway decent Job and Wife will run you about $7,000.00 American.

I think I can swing that.

Plus, I only play Fallout 4, like, 14 hours a day!

That leaves almost two whole hours for work and wife crap and I can still get my 8 hours of beauty sleep.

Where do I sign up?

Is there, like, a form I need to fill out, or something?

I'm thinking this guy already had serious problems if his wife left him in just three weeks. I'm guessing this may have been the straw that broke the camel's back for her.

I'd bet Fallout 4 was not the first game he played that svcked him in like this. guy got what he deserved. I mean Fallout 4 is awesome. I picked it up at the midnight release and played for a few hours when I got home. Was still at work the next day bright and early.

As I went through the article I saw another of a guy playing a game for 3 days straight died.

I believe this person had issues with his wife and job beforehand.

Hell, give him $10K and a case of Nuka Cola. The publicity alone is worth that.

Really? We're really going to go there? :sadvaultboy:

This guy actually getting and winning the case will set a bad precedent.

I mean, Blizzard will owe me a $#!%-load of money for causing me to end up being a single, socially challenged 27yo that's never had a girlfriend nor any real life aspirations working a $#!%%& retail job (this lifestyle does, however, have a very stress free silver lining despite being poor.) Yup, THEIR fault WoW was that good when I started playing back in high school. Totally not my fault for not practicing moderation... or talking to girls. Of course, it was high school. You're either a looker or you're nobody, especially in a school so small you know everyone's names without even trying.

In all seriousness here is another couple of things that you need to read in conjunction with the OP's article.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_(TV_network)#Mouthpiece_of_the_Kremlin

http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-2074-6-ways-youve-probably-read-russian-propaganda-today.html

You can find plenty of other sites dedicated to debunking RT. It is a regular offender on Snopes, among others.

What you read in the original article is literally a hit piece coming directly from the Kremlin.

That is not a joke or an exaggeration.

RT, the "provider" for the article is a full blown, Russian government owned propaganda department.

I assume that the Russian government takes exception to the Lore of the Fallout universe.

So, take NOTHING you see in that article seriously unless independently verified by an unaffiliated third party that does more than just quote the RT article.

i really don't want to argue, but just make a statement because I dont want to get political, but i have to stand up for RT a bit. I've used them as a source of info for many years, at times they can have really really good reports that are definitely true, now i do not follow them constantly so i can't say everything they report is great, but to simply say you can't trust a word of it because it's RT is simply not true.

one thing i can remember specifically is that a while back they had a report on the bullion market and various aspects of global market economics that was the best concise report on the subject i had seen anywhere

This guy is an amateur. Wasn't there a Korean guy who died of starvation and sleep deprivation playing Starcraft?

It gets worse - a couple neglected their baby to play a game and it died if I recall.

South Korea has some real problems with gamer addiction, hence why you'll find so many time restrictions built into their games, especially RPGs. The rest of the world's gamers are mildly irresponsible by comparison.

Luck can be everything sometimes.
