My current project has me exporting something like 29 bones which all need to have keys so naturally when I export from 3DS Max I get them all out in the NiControllerSequence as controlled blocks, the trouble is I've got 4 IK Solvers which also have to be keyed for things to work in 3DS and because of this the nifscripts is exporting them as controlled blocks also, and they have to go.
I've had this before and I didn't have any major problem because they ended up as the last listed objects in 3DS and as such when exported they ended up last in the controlled blocks array (in the nif) and I could just delete them, reset the array number and their gone. But this time they are scattered throughout the array block and it would be a major pain to shuffle all the entries.
So does anyone know how to reset the object order in 3DS, get nifscripts to ignore the IK tracks, or how to get nifscope to reset the controlled block array without a manual shuffle of each block?
The only other thing I can do is delete the solvers only to re-introduce them in an attempt to get them as the last objects in the scene.
Edit......Damn it! They go in by their position in the hierarchy so there's no avoiding them because I have to key them in 3DS and nifscripts insists on exporting them.
