I usually don't wear helmets, I also like to switch to a belted tunic when roaming around town.

Loved Mass Effect 1 with toggle helmet on/off and even DA 1 with the auto remove helmet when chatting but i hated Mass Effect 2 because giving a kiss in full helmet or drinking throu the helmet was dumb and deserved a /double Picard+Riker facepalm.
Sooo .... i never wear helmet in Skyrim for the same reason, spent too much time tweaking a pretty face during my toon creation to have it hidden (cynical me would like to add i didn't care of this in Morrowind and Oblivion since vanilla faces were juste ass looking ugly).

I don't like to hide my character's head, and I like the look of the jade and sapphire circlet, so I just enchanted one of those to wear.

I don't wear helmets either, mostly because I just don't like them...Especially if my character is a pretty Nord lady. :hubbahubba:

Thankfully, this game has MUCH better looking Glass armor than the last one did (who wants to walk around looking like a lime green Tiffany lamp?) and I can actually stand to see my character in it when the game goes to third person view.

But when the construction kit comes out, one of the first mods I'll download (or just make) is one that gives hoods/cowls or circlets a "helm" classification so they don't blow up your armor perks.

No helmet for my Redguard Assassin. He has a dreadlock mohawk and kicking white war paint. Far too cool to cover up!

My character is currently level 28 and i use Iron Cuirass, combined with Leather Boots and Fur Gauntlets..

I don't use the best armor possible, such as Daedric, Dragon or Ebony.. I use the one that IMO looks really cool.

I don't like this Fancy Daedric/Ebony/Dragon armors, i prefer the old-fashioned Iron and Fur. :D

Also, i don't use Helmets, i don't like it. :D

i wear regular clothes with no enchantments..my barbarian nord needs not any fancy protection, he prefers only ragged trousers n boots to show, off his manly chest

i wish they had more pants, the combined armor is lame

Because I want my enemies to get a good look at me as I thrust my blade through their chest.

Anyone else do something clearly not optimal just for kicks?

back in cyrodil i used to not wear greaves for better mobility but then i met this bosmer bandit....you know what happened next suffice it to say i always wear greaves now some might say i even went so far as to merge my greaves to my cuirass.
