Don't worry, sweetheart, your grandma knows how to stay quie

Is it me, or does Lily talk WAY too much when you're sneaking?

She's saying she knows how to be quiet like every three seconds.

I am sure this was done on purpose (for the lulz) but it's becoming not so funny now. That and I've only seen Lily cloak twice; once in the associated quest and again when she got stuck on something and cloaked running back to me only to uncloak the minute she got next to me.

Another thing, about companions in general, is that they don't seem to ever obey me and they sometimes just lose weapons. Boone, for example, doesn't want to use his rifle anymore. I don't know if he dropped it and never pick it up, or what; but when I tell him to use ranged he just wants to use a pool-cue and when I tell him to melee, he uses a combat knife. Since when a pool-cue a ranged weapon?

There is an option to ignore your companions dialogue, in the options menu, you can set the voice bar to zero, and put subtitles off, the downside is you have to switch when you want to talk a town npc. And for your second question, that's probably a glitch, just buy him a sniper rifle at the gun runners.

Seriously. Give Boone a modded sniper rifle in good condition with plenty of bullets.

You can just waltz around the wastes and the man kills EVERYTHING.

I did give him a gun, but he still wouldn't use it.

I thought companions didn't need ammo? I am not even in hardcoe mode.

Maybe he won't shoot his main rifle because he's out of ammo... What type of ammo does it use? .308?

Tell your companions to wait for you at a safe place, you still get the Perks.
