Done all the tweaks, game still HORRIBLE on PC

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 11:54 am

Just wow. My jaw is still on the floor.

I've tried all the mouse tweks.. I've dumbed down the resolution far below the point where I would have bought the game had I known I'd have to dumb it down to 1995 technology.

Is there any way to make the mouse actions in the PC version not feel like the mouse felt on the first Macintosh? (even that's giving it a little too much credit)

My rig has by far the most popular and top-end components that run a dozen other games perfectly... including warcraft, a game that is ELEVEN years old.

On a side note, can you get refunds from Bethesda?

if you bought it on steam you could get a refund if you've played less than 2 hours, maybe still if you have played for longer. I got a refund when I couldn't run Witcher 3 before I upgraded my PC.

as far as your complaints; really? Don't get me wrong you're entitle to your preferences and im not arguing that those things are an issue for you. but 1995? macintosh? hyperbole much?

Just bought a gaming laptop that runs Skyrim on Ultra settings and HD, and all of the High Res packs. Loaded up F4 and it recommended low settings. The game looks alright, so I am not sure what to think about this?

I'm on a i7-5820 and GTX 980. Game runs perfectly, but this is a crap port from consoles to PC. Settings, user interface and controles are obviously designed for consoles. they've done a horrible port.

Mouse movement is sluggish and slow to react and I had to access the .ini files to remove mouse smoothing and acceleration.

I also just read that the game doesn't support 144monitors and I need to limit my refresh rate to prevent bugs.

I expected more from Bethesda.

Going for one last try at the mouse settings when I get home or I'll get a refund through steam..

If you don't post actual specification then no one can help you. 'most popular and top-end components' means nothing.

Besthesda quality.

Maybe instead of throwing money on fallout shelter, the companion app, and other pointless derivates they should have hire more ppl to correctly finish their game...

Anyway, since its the SAME issue with ALL their game, its not like they care because ppl still buy anyway.

It has an NVidia GeForce GTX 970M.

I tried tweeking it today and F4 is now running on medium setting and HD resolution. Game is running smoothly and looks fine. :)
