Bye guys. Im selling the game. It just not worth the amount of energy it needs to get some fun out of it. I was waiting for lobbies but they say nothing about it and the lagfix patch actually made it more laggy for me.
Have fun if you stay with it. Splash Damage is very lucky with you being so loyal. This game broke my hearth:) after how much I anticipated it.

I can appreciate your reasons, and hope you'll still give the game a look if the issues get fully resolved in future, or at least give a sequel a chance if it tries to remedy those problems an update won't correct (I doubt lobbies will come before Brink 2... I still HOPE for them, but won't expect them).

If there will be a Brink 2 and be what the original could be than I'll definitely give it a shot. But I'll just play LA noire and other games until battlefield comes out.
Or maybe if Brink gets really patched and very cheep, but I doubt it.

Aye, they really over-marketed it. Every single person expected it to blow thier minds out with awesomeness and innovation but it's not all that great. SMART's still a great innovation and more FPSes should have it but whatever.

No one will blame you for leaving the game. There are a lot of problems that need to be ironed out and its a shame it is taking awhile to do it because by the time things are fixed I dont know how many people will be playing. (360 version). I have been having difficulties with the game even after this patch like hard freezing which wasen't really a problem before the patch so it is disheartening that they deliver a "fix" and it fixed nothing but some of the lad issues.

I find myself jumping on a lot still because its summer and there are no other online shooters that I want to play at the moment except BRINK. I am looking forward to the future fixes and DLC which I hope will expand the game for the better. I am in the middle of playing Heavy Rain and that game is a very good experience so when BRINK is not working I can get my single player on. Later.

why would you sell a videogame? I did that with N64 games once and will never do it again. You lose money and if you ever want to get the game again you'll lose even more. I have lot's of old games (for this generation alone) I'll probably won't play for the rest of my life like bfbc or gow. I'd advice to just keep the game, maybe splash damge decides to put a lot of effort in it.

I trade the ones that I know that i would never play again. But keep the ones that i know that i would go back to when i am bored. But there are some games that you just know that playing it a second time around... nah.

I am selling them to get new games. Since Im selling the games I tried out more games in the last few month than before that in years. So it may look like I lose money, but I get to try new games for much cheaper. And the memory of the game stays.
I sell a game if im sure that I wont want to play it again. I sold gta 4 for example because I could get it later on PC if I want.
But yes there are days when I have nothing to play with:P I currently have only 3 games:P

I've sold a few games I knew I'd never play any more.

Only one I'm tempted to think maybe I'll miss is Endwar.

Then I think harder and realise I won't. I DO hope they make Endwar 2 though. And I hope it does well enough to be worthwhile.

This game was only ever meant to pass me between boredom and BF:3, so we're sorry to see you go. As for the people saying that this game was advertised as meant to blow our minds - all games are, especially new ones trying to break in to a saturated market, for it to be 'not living up to the hype' is almost the standard for games released in 2010/11.

i was going to get L.A.Noire but it was :gun: it was sold out so i got brink.im really enjoying it but i plan to get L.A.Noire pretty soon

It's sad to see another person leaving the game, I refuse to leave because the amount I paid for the game isn't what I'd get back so I'm sticking it out and hopeing for the best, fingers crossed lol.

I'm still perfectly happy with my purchase; in my eyes, what the game does well, it does well enough to out-weigh the bad. But to each his own I guess.

It's nice from you to be this loyal to the developers. I thought I'll give a few months to the game until it gets patched and put it away until.
But than I realized why would I be this loyal to them after they mislead me with the marketing and when there are so many great games out there

After hitting lvl 20 I decided to trade this game in for pes 2011. I love the game but until dlc and patches come, it'll be collecting dust. I'll be back on it eventually in the future if splash damage goes all out for it.

I thought Ill play the game later too after it gets patched and stuff. But with a clear head I say I wont because there will be other even better games+the game looks quite dead already(on ps3). I added a lot of other games from this and other forum, but it is simply too much work to get together a good game. I think with time it will just get worse. And there is no word on adding lobbies. I don't care about this game any more.

i dont know where the overmarketing comes from i mean i was lucky to see the comercial the night before it came out cos someone on east coast posted it was on conan i think there were a bunch of jumper ons at last minute who dont really get it and i guess thats ok the matches for me play out so differently each time and yes it has a heavy lineup to compete with but scootin cross floor is great and im sure alot of games will copy that in the near future its a great game but if all you are looking for are unlocks and achievements well yes im sure you will find more elsewhere so please leave and realize developers spent a great time explaining why things in the game would be the way they are and knowing that they can patch the game at anytime without it being noticable is grreat to those having fun please do so and if you get the game cheap or for a trade you will have a fine game in your hands hatin on a great game made by a smaller company is utter gutter !!!!!
