I am done with this game

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2016 2:28 am

The bugs are not fixed,

the objective Achievement keep resetting to zero,

The invisible dead body, etc...

All these happened long time ago but never fixed. However , developed put the effort making new things, like pets, junks, making the storage explode.

The game save does not work .

And developer keep changing the rules, like adding deathclaws, mole rats, removing legenderies from wasteland. And now the new rooms are three tier initially, need more dwellers to upgrade. That makes the whole strategy changed. I have my vault surround with elevators and 2x rooms to avoid mole rats, now have to pull it down to fit 3x. I have down size the population to make the management easier, and now have to boost up again.

You must agree this game got strategy, even if I adjust to make it right, developer can change it anytime to make it wrong before I can complete my objective.

I have played this game for 7 months. It is a shame for a game with such good concept end up like this.

Hey, I think they're doing a bang up job with the game and I'm sorry that you're not having the same amount of fun.

I like the challenges of the game and from how it sounds in the end game, you'll be riddled with more caps than you can spend and you'll tear your vault down and rebuild it another way just to spend some caps.

Take a break, come back...who knows, you might like it more when you look at it with a fresh set of eyes!

When something like this happens, taking a break and coming back after the next game updates is the best idea. What if in the next update they fix what is breaking the game on your gaming device?

  • Storages are a lot better now. They increased the amount of items to fit the addition of the craft system. While i was in a hurry with my Storages before, now i can breath more calmly;

  • The Cloud Save system indeed, needs more refinement. I just had a serious struggle with it this week, and that almost made me give up on this game. That really needs a serious improvement if Bethesda wants to take this game as serious as Google did when they made the game an Editor's Choice on App Store;

  • Deathclaws, Mole rats addition (i really hate them, really) were great;

  • Removing Legendary items from Wasteland exploration was something really tricky and bad to do. That was in place until last game version, now with the last update getting legendary items isn't that difficult anymore. Just sit down and try;

  • Three tier rooms are just the special rooms, like the Barber Shop and Clothing/Weapon Craft Rooms. That makes you stop, think and redo your Vault Layout if you want to fit its new features. My vault actually has all kinds of available rooms, good amount of storage (at least for me, 620 of storage isn't bad), and i have 1 floor running with a Mr. Handy (named Cosworth) collecting my resources, so i don't have to worry about getting low on energy (most valuable resource);

  • My vault is also surrounded by elevators, but that "feature" only fits for upper level, since my lower level just have separated training rooms, so i can still have hideous mole rat attacks;

  • Down sized population is nice, not bad. My vault is running completely fine with just 92 dwellers, and i can enjoy all game features;

  • Good thing you need to rethink your strategies if developers change things, that makes you improve yourself. It's not so different from daily life!;

  • My playing time is the same as yours, i guess.

So, i agree. Take a break, and come back later once they have took a better look on game bugs/glitches. :goodjob:

I like challenging, but feel like being fooled when the game rules keep on changing. The worst thing is that some rules developer never tell you.

For example, objectives achievement being reset to zero: at first, I thought it was a bug, but now I realize that it is a rule. If you do not complete certain objective nor skip it, ie, keep the three crosses for some time, the objectives will be reset to zero. In the end game, there is exploring 90+ hrs, selling 2500+ items, 100 fires ... all these takes days. I took the patience to do it but the effort all lost. And more mission impossible.

I play games for fun and relax, not for craps.

Legendary items were removed from the wasteland and replaced with blueprints you have to craft them now

Death Claws are incredibly Easy if you have a few Power Armor Dewelers with Legendaries on the top two floors

Course my medbays are fully upgraded and pump out more stimpacks than i could ever need

so far the only new room that is missing is the robotics lab i requested multiple times for repairing mr handy's

Really through 4 updates strategy has not changed much at all i have managed quite easily to make a self sustaining vault where all i need to do is coordinate stat training and occasionally heal someone

The only problem i do have with mole rats is that when you kill them they dont increase your food stats I know a great recipe for mole rat stew

:goodjob:

Wait. What?

Objectives are purposefully reset to zero? After how long?

I really enjoy the game, but in this case, I agree with Milmodel! The 2500+ items and other objectives reseting to zero is something that makes me want to break my cellphone apart. I thought it was related to my cellphone's RAM memory, though. Not a rule...

On the other hand, game's addition in general are very good. They didn't fix the lack of legendaries in lunchboxes, but I hope they keep up with the updates. Every update so far made the game more enjoyable.
