So you meet this nice little kid down by a dock.. he's talking about sea monsters so you go and check it out. Come back to the kid, tell him everything's ok. He tells you his sad sob story about his dad dying and having to fight off Mirelurks and you're like. "Great! See ya!"

What's up with that? Shouldn't we be able to show this kid the way to one of our many settlements or at least tell him about the other kid in Diamond City who has an eerily similar last name (Sheng Kawolski) and then introduce them? They could sell water together and be friends.

It's like C'mon man, we've taken in junkies, killers, ghouls, super mutants and robots... but we draw the line at taking children in at our settlements?
