Dont spend money or time on this game! A warning!

Bethesda is literally robbing people with a free to play game that is sure to eventually crash and forever loose all your progress.

They are not helpful in fixing the issue or issuing a refund. The Apple Store is not helpful if your purchase was more than 90 days ago, so if your like me and have been playing since day one in the same vault, your screwed when your vault goes belly up.

Its not a matter of if it will happen, but when. Everything I've read from this site, reddit and a few others shows that the game is literally designed to eventually crash/fail to load.

The 200 pop cap is supposed to prevent this issue, but in reality the cap should be around 150 since anymore than that and the game starts its downward spiral. Another contributed to this is excessive items. I had a max item cap of 480 or something like that, yet I was getting the almost full warning at 360 items. The closer I got to my limit the more glitches and shut downs would occur.

The radio rooms also cause havoc if you have a lot of them. I had 12 separate 1 space radio rooms with two maxed C dwellers each. On average I was getting about 8-11 new dwellers whenever I opened up my vault after about an hour of not playing. The crashing this caused was in heard of. Removing the rooms greatly reduced the game crashes and overall issues I was having.

There's other issues, but this is already too long for a PSA.

Bottom line, Bethesda knows what will and what won't hinder the game to function properly. They forced a cap limit of 200, and you can't make anymore dwelling rooms once you reach that cap. they could have done the same with with all the other rooms that cause stability issues.

Storage cap

Radio cap

Training room cap-all the dwellers moving about in the rooms causes a lot of sluggishness.

Limit on how many dwellers can be in the wasteland at one time-if you send all your dwellers to the waste your begging for a crash. I sent out 100 dweller once and could not recall them all with out opening the dweller menu and selecting them one at a time.

Alas my main vault I've been playing since day one has finally met its end at the hands of a lazy, FU give me money, flawed game design.

I warn you all. Bethesda does not care. Your money will not be refunded. Your vaults will not be fixed or magically restored in a hoped for patch that will never come. This is FO3/FONV on PS3 all over again, but this time on our mobile devices.

I wish Bethesda would prove me wrong and fix the hell out of this and the other 2 fallout games, but I know they won't cause they don't care and for that I say FU Bethesda. Keep fallout 4. I'm personally done spending my hard earned cash for half assed/ buggy as all hell garbage.

I have been playing this game on blue stacks for two weeks now and i encountered the same issue, i checked reddit forums and tried various ways of backing up my save data, one link that refers straight to this forum site has been deleted that is supposed to deal with the issue, i can also not find any links to an app called fosrollback which is supposed to fix the issue. i haven't spent any money on the game but the crash has happened to me at least 5 times now and i just want to be able to enjoy the game. also, no help or correspondence from bethesda? more than a bit dissapointed

*smacks head*

Why is this the solution? Never in gaming have I seen so many "workarounds" to something that by all accounts should not be an issue to begin with.

To all those that have "lost" anything due to Bethesda's programming incompetence, my sympathies. To all those that think it's your job to fix their issues, just stop. Demand more from them. It's your money. They want it. Make them effing work for it!

Play it on PC with Blue stacks, never had a crash or bug, never spent a penny, get about 5 crates free a week and play casually, been great so far as a little aside game and 100% better than most mobile crap.

Don't like it don't play it, see no reason for bizzare crusader posts here.

My game has crashed like 10000000 times but my savegame hasn't been corrupted. Tis weird but I still take backups now and then.

This game is bound to crash somedays by design. It is just matter of when. If it crash, your vault will be gone with the unused lunchbox. So the vault and lunchbox will go away sooner or later.

The only way to save it is backing up rhe save file manually.

So it is not wise to spend real mony to buy lunchbox that will perish any time.

Not wise ahaha its only a choice you know!

and your gonna tell me you had fun with the beer for like 30 min maybe

well you probably had fun for 30 min with the lunch box too.

Game is not food that we eat daily.

If the coming Fallout 4 game will reset your save file periodically in every 30 min. and you have to play from the start each time, will you buy it to enjoy the 30 min?

Such thing is playable demo game , not real thing. Wise people will not waste real money to buy playable demo.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your vault, but the PS3 had issues that won't be a problem for the next generation of consoles. So I doubt that the PS4 version would have the same problems that FONV and FO3 had. The 360 versions of both were a lot less buggy.

Just by the nature of the type of game they are trying to make it is going to be buggy. If they took out the jump button, scaled back the simulation, made the world more static, and limited the game to just big corridors it would be a lot less buggy.
