DOSBox bug

Well i'm trying to install Arena following this > http://www.elderscrolls.com/tenth_anniv/Arena106%20Setup.pdf but im stuck on number 13 where it says you have to type in "MOUNT C C:\" into the DOSBox command window but when i hit press the \ button it comes up with ] instead, why?

- i have a vista and its version0.73, the latest.

Use the left-shift.
