I've installed the game and it was fairly smooth install, but now when I type in the startup command for dagger, it sais I have the wrong cd in my drive, or i need to insert the cd into the drive. Dont think its from scratches, there arent many. Anyone got any pointers on what else I might be able to do?

Did you follow the pinned http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=479044&st=0&p=6877259&#entry6877259? If so, you won't even need to have the cd in the drive to play. Just follow everything in there exactly and it should work fine, possibly only changing the path depending on where you installed it. If your running vista you should also make sure to run dosbox as an administrator or things will most likely not work properly.

alright now it's telling me that i havent installed it,
administrator you say? how do i do that?

Right click on the dosbox icon and open up properties, then chose compatibility and check Run this program as an administrator at the bottom.
