Double arrow?

Post » Wed Oct 12, 2011 3:44 am

I wonder if they will add a way to kill 2 enemies by shooting 2 arrows at the same time...

a bit like "Two Worlds 2"

Please comment what you think about this.

how would they go in opposite directions if they are shot at the same time? Shooting two arrows at once into one enemy Legolas style makes sense...but two arrows into two people at the same exact moment? : /

That's a bit cheesy. I'd like it if they both went where you aimed.

would be cool but the only problem is that you have to aim to shoot at people... would be jipped otherwise...

Shoot the first one to arc high, then shoot the second one straight so they hit the target at the same time? I would like that.

Im aware this wont really work in real life, but then again a character can swing a huge-ass hammer without ever stopping

That wouldn't work as Horizontol and vertical components of forces are seperate. http://www.animations.physics.unsw.edu.au/jw/monkey_hunter.html

He doesnt mean that, he means aiming one arrow high and gentle and one straight and fast.

Well you can already (try to) do that without any special perks

Sure. Make it a perk and have it be activated by any empty triggers (empty during archery, I mean).

Not sure you could fire at multiple targets, but maybe all at the same, not sure how much of an effect it would have though, as normally the energy of the bow is chanelled through a single arrow, if more than one arrow were fired they would be slower than a single arrow, and thus deal less damage and likely be unable to penetrate armor.

and for people wondering what firing several arrows looks like: looks like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ais3C28O-mA&feature=related (at 4:24 of that clip)

Dont ever compare Skyrim and Two Worlds. The thought of that just erks me.
The Two Worlds series are the most cliche, plain, and the worst put together rpg's i have ever played.

You think wrong, it would just have to move a few grams more.

Poster above me, what the hell, are you a two-worlds-2-phobe or something? He didnt compare anything

while it wouldn't be an extreme effect, it would be there.

actually the main trouble wouldn't be with the weight at all, but the fact that a bow is designed to shoot 1 arrow at a time, at the nock on the bowstring, if an arrow is positioned anywhere else (as it would have to be to fit several on at the same time), then the additional arrows would recieve only a minimal force from the bow, and be almost totally inneffective (besides being wildly innacurate), though you are right in that the primary arrow which is located at the nock would only be slowed slightly, assuming the bow had a decent draw strength.

Perhaps shooting two arrows at one target for double damage, but not at two separate targets. That makes no sense, is impossible, and this is one instance where realism > gameplay for me.
