Double legendaries

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 9:04 am

So I know you can take sacrificial blade off krehmv's tooth and put it on a legendary. You can also do this with Lorenzo's artifact. What other weapons can you do it with and have you had one of theses?

Pickman's Blade has the Stealth Blade mod that you can remove and attach to different blades. I think that, Kremvh's Tooth, and Lorenzo's Artifact Gun are the only three that allow this. I may be wrong on that though.

Pickmans Blade is just wounding affect on top of the stealth blade mod. I'm not even sure if it cancels out the mod effect

As far as I know, there isn't anything special about the stealth mod that comes with Pickman's Blade.

Kremh's Tooth Mod can be swapped into machetes, of which it is a variant. I don't believe it works with any other weapon type.

I haven't played around with Lorenzo's Artifact yet, but in theory, you should be able to swap that mod into any Gamma Gun to receive the benefit of the legendary attribute as well as the mod.

Stealth Blade Mod adds bleeding affect to the knife BUT since Pickmans Blade already has the wounding prefix since it's a legendary unique weapon, i doubt it stacks with the regular mod.

mods stack with legendaries, kremvs tooth on a poisoning machete ups the poison to 6/sec. The stealth mod on pickmans blade is generic, the blade itself is wounding legendary. The whole reason it's effective is the stacking bleeding.

As far as I'm aware, the only things this works with are the Kremvh's Tooth, the Zeta Gun, and the Lorenzo's Artifact.

There's no proof that they stack though. It could simply cancel it out. I've tried using pickmans blade on my other save there's no proof it doubles the effectiveness.

There is proof that multiple strikes with Pickman's blade stack. The remaining question would be whether the mod and the legendary attribute stack. In the vast majority of potential cases, they do, and I would expect that to be consistent with Pickman's Blade.

Those who have tested the abilities have confirmed that the mod stacks with the legendary for 50 points, and that each strike also stacks.

Essentially, the only reason not to believe they stack would be to have tested a circumstance under which they don't. My results are consistent with those who've tested them as stacking.

No proof? poison went from 3/sec to 6/sec.

Wounding stealth blade combat knife is identical to pickmans blade and the bleeding stacks. It's blatantly obvious in game next time actually try something before denouncing it.

Eh, you quoted my comment yet failed to read that I did test it. :|

i just want the stealth blade mod from a random combat knife really, don't want to level up blacksmith twice to make it myself.

or maybe it doesn't work how people think. The knife claims it does 50 points of bleeding damage HOWEVER each hit increases it exponentially and I didn't see a huge boost is wounding effect, yea i saw it working but i was expecting a much faster drop of health. My Wounding Shotgun does more wounding damage than that

thats because wounding shotgun does 25 bleed x 16 pellets or whatever and pickmans does 50 bleed per hit. Keep in mind bleed is a dot so you don't see noticeable damage until its been applied many times. One stack of bleed is like 5dmg/sec you can barely tell.

What mod can you take off Lorenzo's Artifact to add onto a legendary gamma gun? Isn't Lorenzo's Artifact unique as it does pure damage as oppose to radiation damage?

Lorenzo's Artifact is a unique Gamma Gun. It's effect comes from a unique Dish mod. Removing the Lorenzo's Artifact changes the weapon to a normal Gamma Gun, and adding the Lorenzo's Artifact Dish Mod to another Gamma Gun turns it into a Lorenzo's Artifact.

Lorenzo's Artifact is actually a mod. The weapon itself is an ordinary Gamma Gun. If you have the requisite perk, and go to a workbench, you can remove Lorenzo's Artifact from the gamma gun, and then transfer it into a Legendary Gamma Gun. The effects of both will combine.

I didn't fail to read your post, but I think you failed to read all of mine.

This has been tested, and I have tested it, myself. Those who have tested it have confirmed that they stack, and my experience testing it supports their results.

The only person that I've seen claim that they do not stack is you. But you did not claim that you tested it. Rather, you stated that there was no proof that they stack. I pointed out that proof does exist.

If you choose not to believe the results of those who tested it, then that is your choice.

Can you find a legendary gamma gun with the Lorenzo artifact mod already attached from enemies? Or is Lorenzo's artifact the only gamma gun in game with that mod?

Neither.

Lorenzo's Artifact is a unique mod, not a unique gun. It can be removed and placed into any Gamma Gun, including a Legendary. If you place it in a Legendary, it will have the Legendary property, as well as benefiting from the Lorenzo's Artifact mod.

Lorenzo's Artifact is the only Gamma Gun in the game with the Lorenzo's Artifact dish. It is obtained already attached to a standard Gamma Gun, but as has been stated, you can remove the unique mod. The mod doesn't drop from enemies; the only way to get it is to complete the Secret of Cabot House quest line in a particular way. I can't give more specific details, as this isn't the Spoiler forum.

First The quote Jeremiah posted from me was directed at you. Secondly, the gains from that "stacking" which I didn't see large enough to be worth it would be better served on a different combat knife like Instigating: Double damage at full health, Bleed damage and sneak bonus from the stealth Blade mod. You're looking at a much better result really.
