Foodstuff Destruction
The American Civil War has taught us that destroying an enemy's ability to feed itself and work its land is crucial to breaking the spirits and war capability of an enemy nation. For the Betrayed this boils down to two things: fungus and Charus. Both will have to be aggressively attacked as vigorously as the nests themselves. While eradicating the Charus may be even more insurmountable a task than the Falmer that depend on them, their numbers can be reduced and thus reduce the Falmer population they support. Egg nests and fungus deposits should be harvested and then sterilized with fire to prevent regrowth.
Visual Aids For Dwemer Security
Being blind hasn't stopped the Falmer from taking over Dwemer holds and defiling their once great cities. I attribute this to the loud, clanking machinery that would be easy for them to avoid. In order to help the ancient defenses, I propose working with Master Calcelmo of Markarth to produce a glowing paint or dye that can be applied to Falmer stuctures, tools, even they themselves that will make it easier for the steam defenders to spot and terminate them. Given the myriad of phosphorescent plants and algae in the cave system, it should not take long for a master alchemist to work out such a substance.
The Frostflow Irregulars
One man might be able to achieve limited results and a Dovahkiin more, but there's only so much one person can do. In honor of the family senselessly slaughtered at Frostflow Lighthouse, I propose a volunteer corps of men and women working together to systematically clear each nest one by one. They're going to have to be well trained, versed in cave fighting, start on a poison regimen to build up their immunities and work a grid to ensure nothing is missed. In the spirit of the Dawnguard they will be uniformed and commanded by ranking officers chosen for combat experience and ability.
They will of course need to be funded and this is where the Falmer will actually help. Instead of just raiding their nests everything of value will be hauled out back to the surface to either be processed into valuable goods or sold as is. Everything that cannot be used will be destroyed. At any point in time but especially during times of strife, arms and armor always sell and even with a discount, handsome amounts of coin can be made this way.
