EA Download manager ?

Hey guys just a quick question, so i received my copy in the post today but can't play till midnight tonight : (

So i installed the game and now have something called EA Download manager on my pc,
my question is do i need EA Download manager on my pc to play Crysis 2 ?
or can i delete it

*based on my BF:BC2; BF2; BF2142; MoH; Crysis and Crysis Warhead experience.

You do not need it to play this game. Just go into the settings and make sure that you have it set to not start up when Windows starts and keep it off while playing. I never have it on unless I need to use it to download a game or maybe patch one.
Some games will use it for patches though. Like Spore for example. I believe from looking at the Crysis2 files that its updater for the game is also tied into the EADM as well. At least it has a similar look when trying to run it.

Anyways the EADM does not take up much space. So you can leave it there. You do not need it running to play the game. If a patch comes out it may kick on automatically for it, but thats about it.
