I'm offended there's not an option for "I have an internet connection but no PC".

It would be hard for me to post here without an internet connection

But while I do have an internet connection, I don't buy the downloadable content over the internet, I may have the means to download it, but I have a strong aversion to buying anything over the internet, the only kind of transaction I want anything to do with is the kind where I actually meet with the person I'm buying the product from, exchange money, and get a physical product to show for it. Therefore, I'll still only buy downloadable content if it's released on a disc, that way I probably also end up paying less for it because the price of the disc is often cheaper than the combined prices of the content on it if bought individually, and that's fine with me, because horse armor on its own is NOT worth paying five real dollars for, or even one dollar, horse armor is pretty much pointless in Oblivion due to the lack of mounted combat, and even if it were free, I might still not get it on its own as that would be a waste of bandwidth, but maybe if you package it with Knights of the Nine and a few other DLCs that actually add content the combined package might be worth getting.

So I noticed you didn't add PS3 to the list.

They always forget about us.

Well, anyone who can vote on this poll obviously has an internet connection. Unfortunately it seems ISPs are going the limited data usage path, making the price of DLCs cost even more in total than just the advertised price.

i have a pretty good internet connection for a wireless internet but i just brought the Game of the year edition (i brought oblivion 3 times i it 2 times lol) it saves me the hassle and i save money in the proccess because i don't use up my 8gb internet (i would have adsl2 internet but the major internet companies don't want to put a adsl2 line down here in Rosebud even through where one of the biggest towns on the peninsula)

To those who are thinking "duh off course, I'm using teh internetz to read here lolz", remember that while MOST of us do have an internet connection at home, there are off course those who are using PC from work or libraries etc to read and post here.

I have an internet connection, but my advice to those who want a DLC for either Xbox 360 or PS3, and don't have internet at home is to find a relative or a friend who does have a TV and an internet connection. If not, bring it to work, you local library or somewhere where you can have some time with a TV and an internet connection. You don't have to be a gold member of Xbox live, all you need to do is register for a live account and you will have a silver membership. That allows you to log on to xbox live, go to the marketplace and purchase the DLC

It's not like your Xbox is glued to it's current location. Just bring it to a place with internet connection.

Edit: I forgot that I have to be logged on to xbox live to activate the DLC before playing each time
(at least that's how it works with oblivion and fallout 3. They don't appear to load properly when I sign on offline. I forgot about that problem, but at least you can use other game DLCs offline, so my method still works, only for other games)

I have a PC and Internet. However, unless the DLC is free, I'm not going to buy the DLC online

Actually, even if the DLC is "free", I'm still not going to "buy" it. Too much crap about DLCs suddenly needing you to be online all the time to function (I'm looking at you, BioWare - no DLCs for Dragon Age for me, thanks a lot, I like to play my single-player games on a train and such). WTF?
