Downloadable content for the... internetless

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2011 5:05 am

Excuse me if they made it and I just don't know about it, but it would be fantastic if bethesda would come out with ALL the downloadable content for TES 4 on a disk for the 360 so internetless people like myself can get all the good stuff to hold us over till the next release. Not GOTY edition, i'm talking all the random stuff like sundercliff village or whatever its called and horse armor.

thanks for your time

I guess most people on this forum has internett, then there should'nt bee a problem to get downloadable content........

You dont need Xbox Live Gold to download expansions/DLCs either.

I have a PC, but no internet connection, so I can't view or post on this forum. Duh! Silly question to ask.

Actually, the PC I use at home DOESN'T have an internet connection, so I can't play online, or post from there.

have somewhat limited adsl now, old central so only 0.5 mb down, uploads are not worth mention :(

in limited periods I had to do with mobile net,or nothing at all,and then I got the official patches, and smal mods purely over at elricm since that site are friendly towards slow connections.
or borrowed someones net and downloaded to a usb-device and took it back home,so yes,it would be great with that possibility beoynd the limited downloadable content today.
on the other hand they have improved the cabling out in the district by now so I may never need it again, fingers crossed :)

You're asking people if they have internet on an online forum? I don't think we'll get to see any shocking revelations.

So I noticed you didn't add PS3 to the list.

Well i dont know yet if i will buy the next TES to PC, XBOX 360, Playstation 3 or whatever platform the game is gonna be released for. I might actually chose to get it to pc even through i am mostly a console gamer.

Anyway... i have internet. But i dont have a XBOX Live user, the same thing goes for PS3 and since i own Oblivion for this two platforms, i dont have any DLC. I dont really care that much through... IMO its not nearly as interresting if i cant get it on a disc. So... i have Shivering Isles and Knight of the Nine but nothing else.

I write from my laptop.
Internet Providers here are so medieval, anti-viruses don't support 64bit.
My vast mod collection is transferred to Sasha via USB key.

I post from work, and don't have internet at home. So, the common assumptian that "if you're posting, you have internet" obviously doesn't apply to me.

If the next TES game is chock full of DLC (surely, DLC will make up about 50% of the game), it'll probably ruin the experience for me until the game of the year edition comes out.

I personally prefer big expansion packs like Bloodmoon and Shivering Isles to a lot of DLC's that only lasts for a day.

Agreed of course but wouldn't you like to have them all? we don't have to pick one or the other here

How has anyone voted the fourth option? Obviously you must have computer internet to be on this forum, right?... :S

Not only that, but I'd wager that a vast majority of people these days have wireless internet. Just looking at the wireless networks my laptop can pick up, each and every one of my neighbors (next door, behind my house, and both houses next door to the house behind my house- the houses across the road are too far away to pick up, but I'll bet they have wireless too), and myself, have a wireless connection. If you can hook up your PC to it, you can hook up your Xbox/PS3 to it.

I have a PC and Internet. However, unless the DLC is free, I'm not going to buy the DLC online - I much prefer a physical disc, so that I don't have to deal with the hassle of the extra DRM, or the fear of losing everything if my hard drive explodes, or if I upgrade my PC.

If your here obviously you have access, and more people get it all the time. I don't think it's much of an issue.

I started with Morrowind and learned something and learned it early. Buy Bethesda Softworks games for the PC. It is far more rewarding. (No middleman for DLC's, mods, and better overall control.)

i skipped every1s posts but when all the content is released, then they put it all on a disc. i use xbox and when i bought MW i got the full deal, so with all the extra stuff, and ive seen OB being sold with all the dlc, so if u hav a console u just need to wait a little longer.
