I want to adopt a child and I want to move my spouse and I've gotten a new house (downloaded) With children rooms and master bedroom, thing is when I try to adopt a child or when the adoption lady asks me where I live, it doesn't have an option that I have a house.

There is a cheat to se ownership but I think that's if you plan to steal something. Do I need to own land or something for that to work? And there's no option to move my spouse.
