Downloading and playing Fallout 1 & 2

Post » Thu Jul 04, 2013 7:07 am

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent source from which I would be able to download the original Fallout games (which I have not yet played, don't hurt me) for a Macbook Air. To my understanding, many versions of the games run awkwardly on current-gen computers, and I would like to bypass that issue.

Any suggestions?

GOG makes sure games work on modern machines, and they offer Mac OS X compatibility for both of them.

Gog recommends: a two-button mouse, or Apple mouse with Secondary Button / Secondary Click enabled.

And they (very strangely) require a NVIDIA or ATI graphics card. Patched [at least?] to version 1.02D

I don't remember Fallout 1+2 having support for more than one mouse button, those are probably generalized requirements that they post under every game just to be safe.
