Downloading 24 gigs...Again?

Hey,

Does anyone know - If you have to reinstall Fallout 4 - will I have to download 24+ gb of content again? It took me 3 days to download on crappy dsl. Today I cannot start the game. I installed it last Saturday (11/21) and played it for around 8 hours. Today when I start it, I get to the splash screen. I click "play" and it gives me the steam loading the game window, but the game does not start and I go back to the splash screen and no error. I can click "play" again, but It just loops back in the same way.

I've checked my event viewer for some indication of why it's bombing, but haven't seen anything.

I fear I will have to reinstall, but I don't DON'T want to spend 3 more days just to play.

I did not find any related posts, but if you know of one regarding my issue, please let me know?

I've sent my dxdiag log to Bethesda, but that seems like a black hole.

I can post it here, but is there a way to embed/attach the log file rather than dumping the text into a post?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
