I received the beta key 2 days ago, i immediately began downloading the client, due to my horrible internet speed, it took me 26 hours to download, but i finally got it running today. I opened the game and tried logging in, i got the 103 error which basically meant the servers were offline. ok no problem.

I turned my computer off, and later today i turned it on, being excited for the beta to start. Of course, i was not surprised when i had to patch something, but my ENTIRE CLIENT is downloading itself again!? why?!

I had the US server downloaded, but i have to redownload the whole 20GB!

Happened to me in the last beta so you are not alone. Not sure why it is happening though.

it'll take me a whole day to download this again, by then it'll be saturday >_>

did you maybe double click the installer instead of the patcher or see if you can start the client from inside the fully installed folder instead of the deskstop icon

maybe the icon isn't linked to the correct folder, doesn't have permissions or ?

did you change the default install location or direct it to a external drive that isn't always on?

I deleted and reinstalled the whole game deliberately to try to fix the XP crash bug.

i just double clicked on the launcher shortcut on my desktop.
