Concept art for the races for DA2: http://blog.bioware.com/2010/08/05/biowares-dragon-age-2-podcast-episode-2-art-director-matt-goldman/ ("Images are not necessarily to scale." a community manager commented). Not too drastic differences, and i like the female qunari concept ()

Yeah and we already saw that. Here's a http://www.gamersplus.de/images/screenshots/screenshot_da202_35860.jpg

And either she can imitate the features of her daughter very well, being a shapeshifter and all, or it really is her and she took up the name, legacy, demon or whatever of Flemeth.

What the hell happened to the female human? And the female elf, for that matter, looks like an amphibian. Luckily, that's old concept art.
I'd steal all their pants, tho'.

What if Morrigan was actually Flemeth the entire game? (wait, did I say this before?)

Is a blood mage worth it? Some of the abilities look somewhat useful but I'm wondering if the cost in health is too high.

The Specialization is worth taking just for Blood Wound alone. Casting from your health isn't too bad a trade-off, just pour a few points into Constitution (a score of about 25 should suffice), just keep a close eye on it, and remember you can always switch it off to quaff down a poultice when things are looking hairy.

A race where the men's appearance range between hulks and demons, and the women...look like perfectly normal women with horns. Cute monster girls. Typical.

Is anyone honestly surprised? The difference between male and female dwarf seems even greater to me ;)

Look normal too me.
Damn I gues my warden romanced a centeries old women. Kinda creepy.
I think there will be a femal qunari LI in DA2, purely because the males look like the hulk, and the females are made to look human just with horns, both should look similar, they dont one looks slightly human the other looks like a demon. Shame I will have to kill them though, invade ferelden eh, well I guess we will have to make it impossible for you to invade again, its all they do, so im going to screw them over every chance I get.
Also I dont care what they say, Sten still looked far more human than those others.

The human female's legs are awkwardly curvy and turned to the left, while the rest of the body is turned to the right and she has a tattoo-beard..thing? The artist could've at least checked what he did before calling it finished. However, the male elf's pants are most intriguing...

The tattoo is probably based on a female Maori tattoo. Apparently it's called the moko kauae.

I won't consider it official until a dev confirms it on the forums.

Still, for now, [censored] you BioWare.

Called it.

At least they're not trying to make up some BS, though. They said it like it is: they're focusing on the console version because that's where they get more money. Honestly, this is just great. :P

And don't think the fans will do anything about it. They will still buy it.

Called it, but as was said. At least they are honest in their greed. To Dragon Age! :foodndrink: We may never see a game as well polished and like it for some time. If not ever, and it will go fondly down in my memory as one last hurrah!

My condolences to all PC players. Luckily for me, I'm not a PC player. :P Truly, I am sorry, but it's not something that detracts from my experience.

I like how it will reduce the people who look down on console gamers, hate how it will just make more [censored] saying "consoles are killing good games".

I couldn't play Origins any other way besides the isometric view. It's just not a style of gameplay that I can manage zoomed all the way in like that.

Looks like I won't be playing DA2.

Why would it do that? The first and second points go hand in hand, and a move like this will only make both of them worse. PC players will place consoles and look down on the console players ruining their games even more. Not that it's the fault of consoles or the people that play them, but the brain-dead developers.

Just out of curiousity, is the isometric view in Origins available for console players? I don't want to play like that, but just for my nostalgic memories of Baldur's Gate, I really want to see it.

Now the games will be exactly the same, they will pretty much, they wont yammer on about how one is inferior to the other because both svck equally.

No, I believe it only zoomed out so far, but always staying third-person

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be3kKQCWi5o with some PC gameplay showing it.
