I prefer Leliana.

Then again, I have mod that changes companions to not have predetermined stats, so I could make their build however I want.

Sure. But personally he annoys me, so I am going to kill him off, one of thes days.

What do you mean "should you have"?

I always recruit him, he's a lover of all my male characters. :liplick:

...and http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=540 changes just the ears. Is this what you were looking for? :)

You'll want to grab the http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=202 if you grab this as well, since the ears will clip through helmets and cowls.

Can I recruit her if I have this elf guy?

...also since the helmets are butt-ugly. :)

@Sasholon: IIRC, you meet Zevran *after* Lothering, which means you've missed Leliana.

Spoiler
If you feel like reloading because of her, she can be found in the tavern.

Spoiler
No, because she is recruited in Lothering. You already did one of the recruiting quests(Mage Tower, Redcliffe, etc..), right? If so, Lothering is destroyed.

You know what pisses me off? When a mage or an archer gets the killing blow on a boss. Instead of my warrior doing an awesome finishing move, nothing happens because of the damn mages or rogues. I redid to the high dragon battle multiple times to get the finishing move.

Apparently, they're fixing this in Dragon Age 2.

Got this for 360, and loving it.

Spoiler:

Spoiler
[censored] Sten turned on me when we went to go get the ashes of andraste. He said we should be fighting darkspawn instead of running around looking for an urn, and that he was "taking command". He kept kicking my ass, until finally I "intimidated" him into calming down. Jeesh.

DA:O is good. On PC, it is great. However, I do not like it being labeled as Baldur's Gate's Spiritual successor as, no matter how good it is, it can't hold BG's jock. Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn are, in my opinion, two of the Top 5 greatest games ever made. DA:O is...no where close. However, DA:O is a good game and I feel if BioWare hadn't concentrated on making it on 360 and PS3...and did it just on PC...it could have approached BG's greatness. Unfortunately, PC gaming doesn't demand the respect it used to.

BioWare developed the game to be a PC exclusive, I think. They got some other developer to do the porting for the consoles.

However, DA2 is being developed alongside consoles, so we'll see what this leads too.

I have had the finishing move done for Wynne, on the alpha ogre in Shale's companion quest - it was simply awesome, she had two daggers and had switched them from her staff at some point, I wasn't paying attention. Badass Wynne! I don't mind when the other team members get the fancy killing move. I did once get both my Rogue and Alistair getting it at the same time when you get those two Ogres in the Brecilian forest. That was pretty cool.

I'd make Wynne an Arcane Warrior, but there's a glitch with the armor I want her to wear, and I get really annoyed.

Spell/talent effects.

Which passive spells/talents are you currently using?

I have a threaten effect and item set bonus effect. It's the page where I see my character. Is that it? Sorry, just never have played a RPG like this one before...

Yeah, passive talents, like threaten, give annoying auras.

And, I wouldn't worry if the game seems complex. Took me a while before I understood everything.

I'd recommend http://a.imageshack.us/img72/319/screenshot2010072523123.jpg, but it's a mod.

Anyway, for vanilla, I quite like the Juggernaut armor.
