Graphics looked better in DAO if the darkspawn are anthing to go by.
Well, I don't really like pointy armour, what can I say?
As for the article, I didn't like it. Not because he was complaining, but because he was complaining so badly. Badly, meaning about things that I wouldn't have and then going back and praising things that I wouldn't have. Obviously, it's opinion, but let me give you an example. He said that maybe they should implement a time limit on the main quest to increase urgency. This is fine- I'm not sure it would sell, but it's fine as an idea. Then he goes back and says urgency isn't an issue because the game isn't going to be urgent.
He also complains about the combat saying it was extremely chaotic and hard to get a grasp of, especially for newbies. Good point, but he also mentions that the confusion is a good thing. How can they keep the good parts (confusion) and remove the bad parts (confusion)? He also doesn't mention anything about the pointless amount of filler combat they put into some parts of the game just so that it has X hours of gameplay.
The Themes section is all praise with a small nitpick at the end. I'm sure most people could come up with a better criticism than that (ex: Level scaling).
