A pretty sweet video that shows some gameplay for about a half an hour and it shows off Fenris who is voiced by the guy who did the voice over for Balthier in Final Fantasy XII. Awesome is an understatement I can't wait for this game to come out :celebration: :celebration: :celebration: :celebration: :celebration:

Just went back to the bioware site, I see a guy commenting how he wants to bone Flemmeth. I forgot how creepy that place was.
Mixed reviews, should be interesting.

Well, he wants MILF Flemeth, not the hag from the first. There're roughly twenty years of difference. ^_^

It's unfair that your sister is the only attractive character

bioware forums are pretty...um weird. I remember reading this think about how this guy wanted to fool around with tali, mass effect, and he imagined it would be all oily...shudder. Flemith was looking better than the first one before, except for the hair horns, that looked a little dorky

Even that depends on the preset you start creating Hawke with.
I myself find both Isabella and Bethany attractive. Hell, even Fenris has something, and that is weird since I don't dig his gender, but easily explained by the usual androgynous nature of elves. I've not seen enough of Merrill to decide though.

Yes why else would I be so creeped out.

He actually said WILF... And really they are both ancient, unless that guy was swissgar from dethklok.

I dont like any of them.
It was weird thoug because I wouldnt say no to a qunari added for some odd reason.

I remember sadly "scroging" and he imagined it would be "like making love in a bathtub of vasaline"... They are insane.

Well Fenris isnt exactly masculine. Kinda weird with a name like that.

Personally only attractive character is fem hawke.

And how

Her voice leaves something to be desired, but it doesn't exactly make my ears bleed either.

Well, just played the DA2 demo, and now I won't be buying it.
Really dissappointed, I was really looking forward to this game too.

Best voice is Morrigan, easily.

I don't think i'll be getting this game until it's cheap. I think having the story narrated is cool and the new art style has grown on me, but the demo didn't wow me at all.

So I just played the demo and found out that I liked it even though I've ignored it as not worthy up until now, am seriously considering getting it now.

I'm also thinking about getting the ultimate edition of the first one now. How is the combat of the first one compared to this one?

Also, what does it mean when they say "Original purchasers of Dragon Age 2 will receive:" does that just mean that I'll get it if it's not a used copy?

Now for what I thought about the game. I liked it, I liked using the archer dwarf (rogue?) a lot more than my own character which was a warrior, the mage also came in handy, the combat seemed confusing at first but it's actually a lot more simple than it seems at first glance. I also don't like how I can barely read what's on there since I still have an SDTV and I don't feel like dumping money on that right now since there's already a few expensive things I plan to buy soon/eventually but I can still read it so I guess it's okay. Overall, I think I might go pre-order it in a week or two.

One more thing, anybody know how long this game is supposed to last? Have the devs hinted anything about that? About the length of ME2 should be good enough.

Well, since my birthday is coming up I don't have to worry about buying this game :P Its worth a birthday present definitely. Also, BioWare typically does a great job at storytelling, which I'm a svcker for after RPG elements. I cant resist a great story. Which is why I love the Mass Effect series so far.

The original is similar, but slower paced, more stats, look up some vids.

I would say dont but the game yet, because you didnt pre order before january you already lose content, its cheaper to ignore any info and wait till ev erything comes on a GoTY version, same price, but you get the full game.

Okay, so all. Just needed to be clarified on that. At least the demo has some re playability until I get the full game in April.

The demo is really bad and it's probably going to be a little bit different then what's coming out on the 8th. I wouldn't put much stock in the demo if your unsure about getting the game.

The demo was better than I thought it'd be, but I'd really like to zoom out further. Not sure why BioWare couldn't give PC gamers that. Also don't like the transition from one dialogue scene to the next. Not nearly as smooth as Dragon Age or Mass Effect, the slight loading is gonna annoy me.

I think I'll wait for some sort of sale on this one.

Eh, you may be right but if I did wait until the GoTY then I'd just lose more content but on the other hand I get to save money on all the DLCs on the other hand I don't know how long it'll be until the GoTY comes out and I really feel like playing this game (it's a nice change of pace from all of my current games). Who's to say there'll even be a GoTY edition? ME2 certainly didn't get one.

And for some reason the DA:O video on youtube is taking forever to buffer, can you explain explain exactly how much slower it is? Is it turn-based or something?

@wingus

I agree, at first I thought that my demo might be messing up a little until I figured out that it was normal, would be good if it would be more fluent.
