Dragon Age: Origins, Awakening & DA2

I would disagree with that, at least as far as triggering them. I've never actively pursued a relationship, but still found myself having to turn people down left and right...

As with ME2, i found the conversation options leading to romance being pretty obvious, though Origins was a bit more ambigious in this regard. Thus the intent icons in DA2.

Too many good specializations but I'm going with Dueliest/Assassin for my Rogue. I'm still probably going to do my 1st playthrough with Mage but Rogue looks so Tempting to pick.

Yes, when you want to lead to that. The point was that even if you make no attempt to go into a romance, simply being "nice" to the characters will make them bring it up themselves at some point.

I disagree you'll have plenty of talent points to spread around the different skill trees. I'm guessing around 30 skill points, 25 from levels, 5 or more from the Skill Books.

You're over-estimating gameplay. From the spoilers thread, one had reported finishing around level 17 (rushing) and the other around 20 (taking his time).

I'm not happy with the Mage Specializations but Force Mage is ok. It's not great but it's something that I can think about picking.

I still disagree because my playstyle will be very different. I will do all the side quests and try to get as much exp as possible. 25 is certainly very possible and why people would rush a game is beyond me as the game isn't as fun if you do. I did it in Origins and I was missing out on some things.

I cancelled my preorder today (because I might need the money for bills), so I'll have to get the game another time. I still think it has potential, though.

25 was also possible in DA:O but unreachable without exploits.

Morrigan - Witch Hunt DLC:

"Change is coming to the world. Many fear change and will fight it with every fibre of their being, but sometimes change is what they need most, sometimes change is what sets them free."

I don't think she meant the world so much as the enemies in it, and the game mechanics, design, and lore that held it together. Heh ha. :D

Well, DA2 is proving to be an interesting train wreck indeed. Apparently all side quest areas are recycled, and obviously so. All but a couple of the companions make Morrigan look like a saint. And DA2's MQ is proving to be less complex than the Witcher's, although companion involvement throws in a new twist.

Side with the Dalish. Buy stacks of elfroot and donate it in camp until the cows come home.

I kinda like the companion thing effecting the main quest. Allthough I cant say I am fond of some of the companions.

Now I find coercian (SP ?) is out.... God only BW would find a way to make the wheel WORSE thane it was in ME.

I could, but I wasnt that rich in DAO, money was quite limited for me.

I like how the companions are intertwined with the quest, too. I don't know how much you've read of the spoiler thread, but some give you reason to dislike them more, to the point of inspiring "DIE, SCUM!" rage.

Spoiler
Especially Anders. :gun: I never liked him anyway - but I might just have to get the game for the sheer pleasure of handing him his head.

Spoiler
I liked anders in Awakening now not only did they retcon him, they make him into a dike, I will enjoy putting a dagger between his shoulder blades. (when the games ultimate edition is £25 atleast)
Personally when it comes down to it, I will side with Templars. Also I will try and [censored] up the Qunari, I hate those guys. Kill them all.

One bonus to the game is the Dalish are Wels/Irish, but Irish is done, I find it great to see a Welsh accent in game becuase its so rare. Needs more Welsh.

Holy [censored] Merril (who is kinda a main character) is Welsh, I now feel I need to buy this game new to support BWs choice of VAs... Damn you BW. Stilll going to wait for full dlc included verrsion though.

Never heared of her...
*googles*

Ah, well I didnt watch Torchwood (I dont like Dr who).

Still it makes me happy. Ofc now BW know my weakness o.o I hope everyone in ME3 stays American (I dont remember hearing any Europeans in ME) Unless I am forgetting people.

Also I am making a Dalish elf character in Origins so anyone got name suggestions ?
(male dalish)
I have Dialgarun (how I spell it is probablly going to change somehow though) as a possible name, but it sounds off. Never been good it names, especially fantasy games.

People got the game early, and say its the same cave... Now to show how bad that is, ME1 had about 3 caves/bases copy pasted... Maybe 4.

Ugh! I mean come on even ME2 switched it up and all if not most side quests were unique.

"Recycled" as in Mass Effect, or "Recycled" as in Oblivion? And i'm gonna be riding this wreck all the way to the end! It's nice to know that i've contributed to the destruction of something. In addition to the environment :P

Much worse than Oblivion, from what posters are saying. I've never played ME.
