So, after playing up to the deep roads in the second and playing a couple of the intros as well as the ending of the initial scenes (Just before I leave the wilds for good) I can safely say that both games have their pros and cons
Quinari: DA2

Voice acting: DA2

Side quests: DA:O
Mostly agreed. I actually preferred Hawke to the Warden, partially because of the voiced dialog, but mostly because you spend the game playing Hawke's personal story. In fact, if not for the uneven third act, I'd say DA2 was a better story. If only Bioware could have made Act 3 as good as Act 2, but if wishes were Halla, the Daelish would have left Sundermount.
I'd give both games an 8. I'd give Origins a 9 if you're buying the Ultimate edition with every DLC included, though I suspect that DA2 will have quite a few DLCs as well.
If DA3 can take the combat, style, and dialog for DA2 and place it into a world the size of Origins with similar enemy encounters, I think I'd be in gaming heaven.
