dragon vs deathclaw

Dragon. Deathclaw has no ranged attack or ranged crowd control (Dragonrend Shout). Dragon would just fly around and Shout at it until it died; it doesn't have to land.

One ice breath and the deathclaw would be dead slow, though.

Deathclaw, no contest. I've seen giants beat dragons and no way can a giant beat a deathclaw. Chuck Norris can't beat a deathclaw either.

i was hoping there would be a deathclaw type creature in skyrim. lonsome road deathclaws (especially on something harder than default difficulty) would slaughter all of skyrim. but dragons can fly. why do they land? do they get tired? a smart dragon would never land. but if the legendary bloatfly came flying after them, that would be a different story. legendary bloatfly > ancient dragon > LR DC. but Rawr and courier's mile deathclaws should get some honorable mentions, as my experience is they were even stronger than regular LR DC's.

a little OT, but legate lanius would be a great addition to skyrim (where would he rank in the category of badassery?). he would be legion of course! and actually a worthy end boss to the civil war quest line if siding with the stormcloaks. i would join up with the legion in a flash if he were in command instead of tullius.

Dragon - you can't kill a dragon unarmed!

hmm that sounds like a challenge...I've perked up my heavy armor and have that 1 perk that boosts hand to hand damage so I think I can pull off beating a lesser dragon to death :toughninja:

Deathclaw from the Divide from New Vegas. Not a threat if you hit them from a mile away with a rifle, but if you didn't see the other one next to him or one of them jumped out from hiding you were set for a world of hurt.

They were MUCH more of a threat (even to high level characters) than dragons have ever been (even on Expert).

I want to know what deathclaws you were fighting, 1headshot with a hollowpoint using a sniper rifle killed almost any deathclaw.

If it gets close 2 hits with a super sledge

Fallout New Vegas on max difficulty - they were the worst enemy in the game by a mile.

And they're fast as hell

I set some traps... But he jumped in front of me so fast....
I couldn't get away from my own trap
I failed :(

That was my usual encounter with them

Fallout invasion of the Elder scrolls universe, would be interesting.

OMG YES! lol would liven up the game world alot. Zombie invasion would be cool too, just has to be creative since that has been so overdone in many games.

Even though deathclaws are more scary, dragons would win due to deathclaws having no range attack.

Dragon, because the dragon could just pick up the Deathclaw and drop it.

Heh Legendary Deathclaw vs my automatic grenade launcher in FONV (it was named, but I forget what) tells me that dragons are total Wussies in comparison. Although I've on killed up to blood dragons, maybe elders are tougher.

Ancients are the toughest Dragons in the game, they can die in Oblivion for all I care.

Deathclaw, duh.

Try taking on an NV Deathclaw at the same level most people meet their first dragon...

deathclaw........no contest. they have suprisinly long reach and from past experience tying to melee them from on top of rocks it doesnt look like dragons are far enough away from them when they hover to do a breath attack to be safe from a deathclaw. also my dog and lydia beat up a dragon (expert level) ive never seen a companion successfully take on a deathclaw and not die.

ps im assuming we are talking about new vegas deathclaws and not the wussy fallout 3 ones.
