Dragon Knight

Post » Wed Feb 19, 2014 4:05 pm

Looking for some good Dragon Knight video's that give feed back on the class. Their are plenty of Sorc, Nightblade and even Templar videos but I can not find a good Dragon Knight one.

I never got to play the Beta so i'm trying to decide between the DK and Templar. Looking for a class that will allow me to rush into battle and get into the thick of things. So any advice or pro and cons of both classes would be nice if anyone cares to share.

Just wait for the next beta-event and try out yourself, I'd say... ;)

Dragon Knight can get something like 4 self heals (inhale, dragon's blood, flame lash, and one of the morphs from searing strike). SO they have plenty of options for heals to stay in the thick of things.

didn't feel like making a whole new thread, so il just ask here.

The ultimate magma armors 1st morph is magma shell, it says it gives allies a shield of 85% of their maximum health, is this something that just applies to allies or to them and me? If its just for allies id want to go with the corrosive armor which takes 30% weapon dmg away from attacks to me.

Question :

does the dk have some kind of spell-ish skills (without the destruction staff)? I'd love to make some kind of one hand+shield/dual wield-fireballshooting char... :D

I played dragon night in the beta and i thought it was awesome! i loved hoe it was great ad getting stuck in and punishing enemies that attack you. the ultimate allows you to leap into a fight with wings and knockback enemies. the armour buff that reflects damage is great too and lasts a good while. i used the draconic power tree and had all abilties for that class slotted except one. i used the knockdown fist from the other tree. though i often swapped it out for the 2h weapon criticak charge as it also allows you to close quickly with an enemy insta crit and stun them.

with heavy armour and i rolled argonian for the healing racial the dragon knights draconic powers were really nice having 5 slotted meant a really nice healing buff combined with the potion heal buff and the dmg mitigation from a full heavy set i could get stuck in and last a while. dps isnt as good as other classes for sure but if you like playing the type of char that gets in enemies faces and is awkward to remove id deffo give it a whirl!

Depends on what you mean by "spellish". If you mean magical flavour-wise then yes. If you mean long ranged magical DPS no.

I mean something close-range (instant cast preferably) so that I can do close combat focus with some spells cast in between (like wow's enhancement shaman )

I don't think those are vanilla. I didn't explore the UI in depth to know if it is. However, i knoew ESO allow player to use addon like WoW.

Beat me to it. Ziz is one of the best folks in the beta right now. Anyone who's got the sense to get out of ER is good in my book. ;)

Nope, them's modded.
