Was able to gather a handful to different dragon shout words from the quests, have a few available precious dragon souls in the magic inventory. Please help me decide... Is it better to activate two or three words of the same dragon shout OR activate one word at a time of several dragon shouts? I have:
- two words of Marked for Death,

- two words of Become Ethereal,

- one word of Ice Form,

- one word of Elemental Fury

What do you think? two words or one word for each?

(My character is a Breton Batllemage with 200+ Magicka and 100+Health, specializing in one handed weapons) Thanks for your replies!

I say you get the ones that you want for the time being, and then you stock up on gear and head to the mountains for some dragon slaying. You'll find more words along the way too!

How many souls do you have?

Of those, the most useful is Ice Form. Comes in handy if you get overwhelmed. I personally don't see the worth of the others.

If you use followers, don't bother with marked for death as they invariably get in the way, even if they're set as essential it just wastes the shout. On the other hand, if you're a lone wolf it can come in quite handy. Elemental fury might be good if you generally use un-enchanted weapons.

I've got two remaining dragon souls in my inventory. Expecting to get another one in my next quest...

The Become Ethereal Shout is very useful for avoiding Squishdom, IMO it only really needs the first Word.

Elemental Fury is for Two Handed and Dual Wielding Melee attacks, not Sword and Board or Mages. The Shout can be useful for an overwhelmed Assassin.

Ice Form can be used for a break from Combat or to even the odds.
