So a question has been going through my mind lately.

If an NPC or NPC Faction that you are not affiliated with kills a dragon, do you still get the soul?

If not, does the body not disintegrate?

I ask this as I was wondering, a town could profit greatly with the influx of the rare and exotic dragon meat that butchers would be producing.
If this is true, I was hoping to do a scripted dragon attack on the town that I'm making.

What do you think?

If you are within range of a dragon when it dies you will absorb its soul no matter who made the kill.

Seriously, and you know this...how?

If we, the Dovahkiin, will have trouble fighting a dragon. I doubt Joe Schmo will have any chance at all fighting the dragons. I'm sure the slaying of those foul beasts will consolidated to the Dovahkiin first and foremost. :tops:

I sincerely hope that I will NOT be rewarded for a creature i did not defeat myself...ever! :stare:
