I installed http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3829/? today and have immediate issues with triggering the "dragon death" so I can get dragon souls. First I fought two dwemer mechanical dragons and only one of them died "normally", giving me a soul. A little while later I fought a Frost Dragon - and had the same issue with it. It just http://i.imgur.com/cppJ5ID.jpg. Seems like an odd issue for such a popular mod, but I've never had this issue previously and it's the only mod I've added today. Anyone who has an idea if and how this can be fixed - or perhaps it's easiest just to skip DD?

1) Are you using v6.3.5 or the experimental v7 of Deadly Dragons?

2) Are you using the USKP, UDP and the UDBP?

Yes, I saw that in the readme. I've also skimmed through comments on TES and the author seems to be, uhm, less then forthcoming when it comes to reported issues with the mod. I'm using 6.3.5 and the latest versions of the unofficial patch mods. I'll just uninstall it. A shame as it seems cool (and the Deadly Monsters MCM config was neat).

Arkngt, you can continue to use Deadly Monsters without Deadly Dragons, if you wish. I've done so in several games. I don't know if you're in the market for a different Dragon mod, but if you are you might take a look at Erkeil's http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34215/? I'm using it in my current game (along with Deadly Monsters) and I'm liking it very much.

Yeah, a shame - I've been using DD for a year or more and never had any problems with it at all. What happens if you wait for cell reset (31 days to be on the safe side) - could it be that those dragons you can't get souls from had spawned previously before you installed DD and something is glitching due to that?

Otherwise (or in addition to DD) have you checked out http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32597? - another update was released today.
