Dragon

Well from what I've heard there will be several variety of dragons, hoping this is true and all. Now I'd be guessing if there will be dragoness as well, seeing that this is a poll what say you? Just a idea about having one female voice actor doing one of the dragons, a deep impression of course.

As long as it isn't the one who voiced the dragon in Eragon

That was a horrible voice for a dragon (and a pretty bad movie in my opinion)
I don't really care either way. I don't really associate genders and dragons. Just punch 'em in the face, no problem :toughninja:

I dont think they should even specify gender. It causes way too many issues, and controversies.

That's what happens when you turn a horrible book into a movie. Odds are it is horrible. :P (Just my opinion, pretty much all fantasy novels besides LoTR, Artemis Fowl, and this one series I read when I was in middle school svck to me)

This. Besides, Don't dragons lay eggs? Wouldn't be surprised if they went Godzilla and all eggs were already pregnant females. Otherwise queue the Barry White it's time for some dragon lovin.

This is pretty much what I thought when I saw the "Will there be dragoness?" thread subtitle anyway. Well, exactly what I thought was "Why, you looking to date one?" :P

if there is genders then i think there should be atleast a big difference in the power and abilities of each one, in the animal kingdom generally the female is much stonger due to the fact that they protect there young, also if gender becomes involved will there be dragonlings? The idea itself is good but alot of time and effort would be required. Maybe an addon or expansion?

I'm hoping that each dragon looks and sounds unique. If that's the case, then I don't know how I would be able to tell if each one was male and female, seeing as I don't know the differences between male and female dragons IRL :P

Aren't dragons asixual? (I think that's the term, like not having a six, just a dragon) Maybe that's another lore I'm thinking of? The fantasy realms in my head tend to mesh together sometimes

Never thought 'dragon' was gender specific.

Damn it another race with tails to make me confused about the birds and bees.
As if Khajiit, tieflings, argonians, female daedra, the whole AD&D humaniod monsters, cartoon characters, most animation and bunny girls were not enough.
If the dragons come with red wigs I'm screwed.

As to voices, I really hope the dragons are beasts and not intelligent speaking creatures.
Ald' Ruhn's fine but the rest better be mute or have gimp masks.. damn it.

 Female dragons? What is next, baby dragons, or children dragons? Will dragons be able to marry? I wonder if a dragon will be able to dual wield and be able to turn into a werewolf while riding a horse in combat as well now.

What is with all the female versions of everything lately? :banghead: I just don't get it anymore.

I voted for I don't care. Right now, I just can't get Sean Connery out of my head voicing a dragon. I forget the name of that movie, but it had Dennis Quaid as the Dragon Slayer. :P

yes , remember the words of power from the dragon language.. the story is kinda based on it
the gameinformer translating the trailer was also ragn writing.

I was under the impression that the dragon shouts weren't exactly words but more like... well, shouts. Something along the lines of 'kablaargh' or 'shazzam'.
I mean it's not like we are going to be having a cup of tea and a chat with a dragon voiced by Sean Connery.

Also in sound of Skyrim videos they talk a bit about trying to find the right voice for the dragons.
