Ok so I think I mess up.... I got attacked by the cultists and i read the letter but when i went to talk to the boat guy I think i must have chosen the wrong thing cause now the quest is no longer active and when I try to talk to them now they just do simple dialogue.. It's not an issue with the Xbox console because I many other accounts that don't have issues with the Dragonborn DLC..

Again only one of my characters have this issues and it's my main one.... please help....

Reload an earlier save if you have one or simply wait for the cultists to come calling again. Welcome to the forums by the way.
