Dragonhide Glitch?

Post » Fri Dec 20, 2013 3:03 pm

Hey guys,

I JUST got the Dragonhide mage armor and I casted it and then I looked in my inventory to see how much armor it gave me, and it said that it only gave 1 point of armor. I researched it and I couldnt find anyone else who had this glitch. It is supposed to give you 567 armor points (the max armor you can get in the game). Does anyone else have this problem?

It shows up in the "Active Effects" slot of Magic.

The other mage armor spells (like ironflesh) Show your armor rating in the apparel section of the inventory. This one's different?

It works but just doesn't display like the other flesh armors.

Yeah I just tested it out in a battle and I was taking like no melee damage. I think it works :)

That spell it too much of a pain to deal with for regular use, I just use ebony flesh with the mage armor perks.

ebony flesh + mage armor perks 3/3 + lord stone + greater ward = 430

I got teh cost of dragonhide down to like half of my stamina bar (which imo is still really high), but your right, for like 45 seconds it's not worth it. I quickly went back to Ebony flesh

My biggest problem with the spell is the casting time and it don't last very long. I can dual cast ebony flesh with alteration potion + stability perk and I can clear out an entire level before it wears off.

yeah, even with the +duration time the Dragonhide only lasts 45 secs and I agree that the cast time takes forever
