I am 99% set on Redguard, mainly due to the Stamina Racial bonuses.
Can anyone convince me to change my mind? Not much time left before launch!

If it makes any difference, Dunmer just got buffed to do 6% more fire damage.
High Elves get a bonus to fire damage as well. Personally, I'm going for orc.
Hesitating between Altmer or Dunmer for racials, and Khajit for appearance.
Imperial because like how they look and their racials are perfect for a tank.
Nothing convincing so far!
From what I experienced Stamina was such a huge deal with amount you can block and taunt ability use. so much STAMINA with Redguard!
Personally I found it harder to maintain mana than stamina during the beta, but I only got to level 10 so I can't say for sure which would be more important. There are lots of races with good tank racials -- Orcs, Redguards and Imperials all have stat bonuses that are handy, High Elves get magicka and fire damage, Dunmer get fire damage too, Khajiit have melee bonuses... it really should come down to which race you like the most, not racials.
Redgaurd; mainly because of the awesome dance and hair styles.
One question though...Can I wear Imperial style armor with a Redguard? I have the Imperial edition. Cheers.
I believe dodging and blocking is percentage based. Therefore, max stamina boost will be a non factor in that regard.
Yes, I found myself using a lot more DK abilities so I think mana will be much more important.
High Elves get max magicka, magicka regen and fire damage, Dark Elves get a bonus to max (if slightly less) of all 3 pools.
Yeah I know about OC, it lowers the effectivemess of a stat but at the end of the day, you still get a bigger pool than someone without it.
Besides, you want to save a good chunk or your sta bar for blocking and interupting, which are % based so your max sta won't matter for that.
I think I am going Orc for the sprint bonus.
Imperial Earthen Heart/1h/1s + Draconic power.
Imperial racials looked pretty solid for a Dragonknight tank Imo.
I'll likely have a Redguard Dragonknight in the Daggerfall Covenant and an Imperial Dragonknight in the Ebonheart Pact.
It's the other way around on racials; High Elves get 1/2/3% on all magicka damage, Dark Elves get 2/4/6% on fire damage only.
So you need to decide if the extra 3% damage is worth the regen loss.
I like you more and more (my Nord is still going to be a Templar though...)
I may be going imperial for my dk tank spec, have to re check the racials before i do though.
Redguard/Orc/Imperial
Thay all have good tanking racials..
Dunmer/Altmer if you want to be more of a Flame-DPS type, or think you might want to eventually respec
I don't think this is correct. Well it's not even the MAX stamina boost that is the best here, it's the Stamina regained from melee attacks
Due to the softcaps and the sound of what you're looking for I'd say Redguard or High Elf depending on whether you plan to rely more on weapon(redgaurd) or class(high elf) abilites. You can pump up nothing but health with your leveling while letting the racials cover your stamina or magicka needs. Defense wise you'd get more blocking/dodging from Redguard but more usage of buffs/self heals from High Elf.
Keep in mind if your picking a race solely on min/max based needs you should probably only focus on the theme of the racials, so if you decide to go with a magicka friendly race but want to be human don't be afraid to chose Breton. High Elf has the superior setup at the moment, but that might not be so in a few months.
Yes, it doesn't matter if you have 50 Stamina or 500,000 Stamina, you can both dodge or block the same number of times on a full bar. The difference comes in when you look at the stamina use of abilities and consider that more stamina means less of your percentage is being used by stamina skills.
Of course, if you go Sorcerer Magicka build, you have the best of both worlds.
