Do dragons still appear after the main quest line is finished? the only reason i ask this is if so i will need to get cracken on my smithing.

Yes, they do keep spawning and lying around after the MQ

Somehow I doubt it. But I do hope so, because the dragon armor might just depend on it, and of course developing shouts depends on it. I'm running around gathering up all the shouts I can right now.
