Dragons in Different Environments

I know we've seen the dragons, and just about heard everything there is to know about them in the game. So far, the media that has been release depicts the Dovahkiin and the dragons battling it out in very open ended spaces. The fact that they can appear randomly and give chase to the player really switches things up in the game world opposed to the random Oblivion Gates of the previous game.

Now, this is awesome as it shows off almost all of the dragon's abilities and its range of movement and power. Have you guys ever stepped back and away from the tundra and other open-ended spaces and thought of fighting the dragons in different environments than what's been shown?

Imagine fighting a dragon inside of a cave. That would make the combat change significantly and give a fresh perspective on close quarters combat as you use the labyrinth of walls to avoid it's magic breath. Or how about even on the coast? Using the water as protection to dive into when the dragon comes around to attack again. I wish it could dive in the water and swim like an alligator to make up for lack of possible huge sea creatures.

My favorite place to imagine encountering a dragon would be the fall or pine forests. Can dragons chase you in there? Would it circle above until you exited the tangled mess of trees or does it come inside and dodge around trees to devour you?

There's so many questions you could formulate about them.

This is kind of weird. I was thinking something very similar no more than a half an hour ago. Now that we have four confirmed types of dragons (brown, green, white, bronze), I wonder if they'll just be in certain environments in Skyrim. Like green dragons could patrol the volcanic tundra, white dragons in the snowy wastelands and canyon, brown and bronze in the pine forests and tundra near Whiterun. Some reason I doubt we'll see dragons in interiors. That's just me though and I could be wrong.

well, if you look at the gameplay combat- the white (frost dragon) was in the open fields along with the brown (fire dragon)- so two different types of dragons that we know so far can exist in the same terrain.

Also- This would make a great http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1214192-wherewhen-do-you-want-to-fight-a-dragon/ for this discussion

and just a note, the green/yellow dragons will look more serpentine and have an amphibious headcrest.

Facing a dragon inside a cave would be either a very limited combat experience, or if the cave is big enough, very intense.

There will bound to be a 'Boss battle' against Alduin at the end who I believe is a dragon. It may be indoors:)
