Dragons Loot Issue?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 7:17 am

Why do Dragons only drop Dragon Bones, Gold and usually a iron shield / boots? Should higher skilled dragons drop higher class and or enchanted items? Seems like the developers skipped out on the loot for the Biggest AI's in the game. :sadvaultboy:

Many Thanks Dragonborns

I took an arrow in the foot once, like dragon drops, then I took an arow in the knee.

Nice!
back to the question though regarding Loot system, why isn't there a better drop scale with Dragons?

Because you are only getting whatever the dragon ate. There isn't a lot of people running around in daedric armor for them to gnaw on.

So no.... I think its just fine the way it is. Its already WAY too easy to get top notch gear.

They drop a lot of gold, and a lot of gold's worth of scales and bones. Any more would just be over doing it.

Very True though; wish the Elders have better drops though.

I supose what they drop depends on what or who they have eaten recently. Just be thankfull there not Vegitarians otherwise youll be getting Carrots and Potatoes as loot.

I could see if higher level dragons had other appropriate items with unique powers... Dragon teeth for instance might be a a useful high level alchemy reagent.
