Hello all,

For quite a while now dragons never spawn in my game.

So far I have :

Reinstalled Skyrim

Disabled all mods (However if I do this now, after adding mods, the game crashes back to desktop and does not load)

Downloaded the "More Dragons" mod

Waited in-game for over a month

The issue occurs regardless of where I am in the story, I know there is a part in the story that stops Dragons spawning, my current character has not reached this part yet.

None of the above has worked, I used to have two save files for two different characters, one save file would be plentiful with dragons, the other would be completely void. These save files have now been deleted (In an attempt to rectify the issue)

I am at a loss as to why Dragons never spawn.

Here is a list of the mods I currently have, should any of these be casuing the issue ;

Dragons only start appearing after you kill Mirmulnir(Whiterun dragon) and visit the Greybeards. Are you sure you've gotten that far into the MQ on those saves?

I think so, I've completed the main quest on three characters. Two of which never encountered random dragons.

With all those mods, its practically impossible to say which particular one or bunch of them could be causing a problem or not. Have you tried a fresh play through without mods? Rule of thumb, more mods might be cool for different game play experience but more chance of issues or problems. Did you read the documentation that comes with each mod? A lot of these mods available for Skyrim are written by authors with who knows what kind of programming experience they may or may not have.. its a gamble on your part.

Have you done the quest "A Blade in the Dark" with Delphine? When you tell her to go to Kynesgrove, the random attacks stop until you finish the quest at Kynesgrove. I

f you have finished it, then maybe something went wrong and the random attacks never got restarted. Try going back to Kynesgrove. Visit the spot where you battled the dragon. Maybe that will get things going again.

If you have finished the initial visit to Hrothgar, you can ask Angier for the locations of Word Walls. Many of them are guarded by dragons.

Vanilla Skyrim shouldn't have this. It's likely a mod issue.
