2 dragons at once

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 7:55 pm

I have 160+ hours of game time and not once have a been attacked by multiple dragons at the same time. This saddens me, has anyone else had this problem?

I haven't seen two at the same time yet. That would make for an interesting random encounter.

Spoiler
Two dragons guard Alduin's lair.

Also, I think the radiant AI may create more challenging encounters for you if you do better, although it could just be coincidence. I did a quest without getting hit a single time, and then as I was walking along the road I got attacked by two blood dragons. Also, later I got attacked by an elder dragon... at level 28.

On my other character, I've been attacked by two dragons twice.

but neither would land and fight

Dragonrend them out of the sky.

I had two encounters that were very close to each other but never two at one time. Shame really

If you are on a pc I highly advise you to spawn a 2 or 3 over a bandit/forsworn infested fort. EPIC truly EPIC.

I have been on master for about 60 of the 160 hours and an ancient dragon presents some trouble but I want to have to fight for my life. 2 ancient dragons on master would present that to me.

I had 2 at once only one time. A blood dragon and a dragon dragon..lol It was interesting. I've had one after the other a couple times also, but that is about it.

I haven't had it happen to me yet but I have seen a video posted by someone who had it happen. One of my recent ones had a dragon, bandits, wolves and a frost troll though. I got the dragon but Lydia died so I reloaded.

Same boat. 135 hours in. I only get them one at a time. And the dragons are still pansies at this point. A well-armored bandit is tougher.

Slightly O/T, but when to the elder/ancient dragons start showing up? Do I have to progress the MQ to a certain point?

I know that you have to be at least level 30 for elder dragons and 40 for ancient, I am not entirely sure whether or not you have to have completed the main questline or not though.

I've had two Double Team me several times, I guess its right time right placed, one lands bites and flames you, another strafes you over the air and when you focus on the landed enemy the other one perches nearby and ninja blasts you.

I have several dual dragon fights, and even on one rare and extremely glitchy case a triple dragon fight though dragon #1 did drop out of the air dead itself without any interaction from me at the start. The most recent was in Darkstar where a blood and ancient dragon both decided to say hello. In that case I think one was following the kajit merchants as they came running in to town right at me, and the other was just one of those fast travel>spawn encounters.

There's something else that many fellas would like 2 of at the same time that rarely happens... can't quite put my finger on it.

I don't know if the unpatched game is bugged, but I encountered an elder dragon at level 28 so... that doesn't sound exactly right.

I'm level 35. Hmmm...I guess I'd better just do some main questing.

I'm playing a Breton mage, who is already pretty resilient to dragon breath due to her magic resistance. I still enjoy the dragon encounters, but even when I get blasted full on with fire, it barely damages me. Looking forward to meeting the tougher ones.

-What would you do if you had a million dollars?
-I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two dragons at the same time, man.
-That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two dragon at the same time?
-Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause dragons dig dudes with money.
-Well, not all dragons.
-Well, the type of dragons that'd double up on a dude like me do.
-Good point.

- My thoughts when I read the title.

Ahem... Yes, I've fought two dragons at once. Only one time, at the College of Winterhold I think.

I fought one while another was behind him in he distance. I just moved on. But not one after another or two at the same time.

2 dragons at problem is rare and a problem. Not seeing two at once is good.

Cheers

I've fought two once, while a third circled above. I'm not sure whether he'd have joined the fight or not because I died so fast. On a reload (of like, ten seconds before the first landed) only one landed
