dragons in the next game ? what do you think ?

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 3:49 am

so i was thinking now that dragons are back and continue to be around even after you beat Alduin do you think that they will be in elder scrolls VI ????

so imo they would just be anouther random creature that you could fight while out adventuring. there probably wount be as much as skyrim but i think that they will deff be in the next game. what do you all think.

I like dragons, but I also think that they should be almost entirely quest-specific. Even then, that depends on where the game takes place.

Most likely not, the only dragons that got revived were the ones in skyrim and since Alduin was defeated the dragons can't be revived anymore, but they'll probably reproduce.

yeah thats what i'm saying the next game is probably gonna be set a certain amont of years in the future from skyrim. so by the time they could have spred to any numer of provinces by then. so maybe just a few like i said not as many as there were in skyrim. but have some of them be quest specific or really rare incounters.

They don't reproduce, apparently. Timeless spirit beings and all that. However, we don't know if other dragons can use the revival shout, and if they can which ones, and of those which ones are alive at the end of Skyrim. So it's a maybe.

if the next game is set in hammerfell then i could deff see there being dragons in it since its right next to skyrim. but if its set in say elswyr ( i think thats spelled right ) then its only a maybe. but then again it all depends on how far in tto the future the next game is set if it like the rest where i think its like 15 years inbetween each game then i'm pretty sure at least 2 or 3 dragon would have made it to elswyre. maybe a little bit more.

I hope they put in some new creature we haven't faced before because the dragons were good for this game but it's always nice to have something new.

yeah see thats what i'm thinking. why take so much time to make them as awesome as they are and not have at least 1 or 2 dragons in the future games.

I grew sick of dragons after about the 3rd one in Skyrim.

if you were already annoyed by the third dragon, i can only imagine how insane you must have been after the 30th, then the 31st, 32nd, 33rd...

with that being said, i liked their idea of a "radient," roaming style boss. and i can certainly excuse the contrivance of self-replenishing enemies, but it might be more interesting if it wasn't just one single type, like a dragon, but perhaps two or three "boss" types.

Only as the most extreme bosses. Can't bear to fight any more 'random' dragons. They're annoying.

I wouldnt mind them as a very rare roaming AND/or quest related boss. Dragons should be part of Tamriel again from this point on imo.

I sincerely hope so, although not often and not in the capacity of enemies. I think that, occassionally, you should be able to see a dragon flying overhead. An increased chance in areas close to the Skyrim border (assuming we're in a province that shares a border with Skyrim) would work nicely.

Perhaps as rare bosses as well? Just not as random enemies as they are now. It's worked in Skyrim, where they form a huge part of the plotline. It wouldn't work as well (IMO) in a game which focuses on something else.

if they were in they would probably just be random enemies, perhaps bosses at the end of a few dungeons. doubt bethesda would put so much emphasis on them again as, hopefully, the main quest will be related to something other than dragons

If the game is set in Skyrim again there might be dragons but since the next TES will not be in Skyrim there prolly will be no dragons.
