So, one must ask, are the dragons in Skyrim, which have bony, platelike scales and are dull-colored, another variety of Akaviri dragon, dragons from Vvardenfell (whose appearance isn't well known), or some sort of dragons native to Skyrim (possibly even Atmora)? Could they be remnants of the Ehlnofey, who were the progenitors of men and beasts on Nirn? Doubt has been cast on whether the Hist was a tree or some type of Argonian (though the Argonians themselves refer to the trees as Hist), so could dragons, being reptilian, be mistaken for a strange variety of Argonian? Or could they even be divine (aedra, daedra)? Alduin is considered to be a god by the Nords, so it's entirely possible.
