Has anyone found a fix for the glitch in which word walls won't teach their word despite the chanting noise etc? Specifically at dragontooth crater? It seems to me that the glitch, in my case at least, is related to the letter from a friend misc quests.

I did this wall last night with no problems. And I have the misc letter from friend bug with arcwind point.

There is a known issue were word walls you have already visited and collected the word from have the chanting and glowing word wall. Could that be the case here?

This is definately the first tme I've visited this wall. I would also like to point out that the writing on the wall is glitching as well.

Well I know marked for death is bugged for collection but I dont think ive heard of dragontooth being bugged or even a visually glitchy word wall.

My thinking is you have a bit of dodgey data in there causing the problem. I would suggest clearing the system cache, the game instalation and the title update. Then re-installing Skyrim to the HDD and downloading the title update again.
